Chennaiyin FC 2-2 FC Goa

It was an entertaining game in Chennai to begin matchday 6 of the ISL this season, as Chennaiyin FC found a late equaliser through Daniel Chima Chukwu to deny Manolo Marquez's FC Goa the full points.

After a good Goa start, it was Chennaiyin who took the lead, as Odei Onaindia's clearance hit Wilman Jordan Gil and deflected into the net. Goa fought hard and found their equaliser in first half stoppage time, as Udanta Singh attacked a set-piece well, and saw the ball loop into the net off his shoulder.

Armando Sadiku then scored his fifth goal of the season, converting a penalty that was won by Dejan Drazic, who drew a foul from Samik Mitra. Eventually, in rather controversial circumstances, the equaliser came from Chukwu, whose header off a set-piece was palmed onto the crossbar by Laximkant Kattimani and then dribbled along the goal-line. The referee gave the goal, but there was no replay angle which showed that the whole of the ball had crossed the whole of the line.
