Another weekend of high-octane football has passed us by, with plenty of upsets across Europe. The Manchester Derby saw Ruben Amorim's side make a late comeback to stun Manchester City. Liverpool stumbled in the title race, picking up a draw, as did Arsenal, with Chelsea making up ground with a win over Brentford.

Real Madrid were held to a draw after controversial refereeing decisions, while Barcelona were stunned by Leganes, which allowed Atletico Madrid to draw level on points (with a game in hand) after their win over Getafe. Over in Italy, Atalanta continued their winning run, as did Napoli to stay 1-2 on the table, while Fiorentina, Milan and Juventus lost ground.

Bayern Munich saw their Bundesliga lead take a hit after a loss to Mainz while second-placed Bayer Leverkusen grabbed a win away to Augsburg. Ligue 1 saw PSG increase their lead atop the table to seven points after beating Lyon, while both Monaco and Marseille drew.
