Once again, the weekend European club football had its share of goals and drama. In the Premier League, Liverpool remained on top after their win over Crystal Palace while Arsenal and Manchester City also recorded crucial wins heading into the international break.
In the Laliga, Barcelona and Real Madrid secured victories to occupy top two spots respectively while Atletico Madrid drew against Real Sociedad. In Italy, Napoli continue to lead the table followed by Inter Milan, Juventus and Lazio. In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich drew against Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen also shared points with Holstein Kiel.
