Stats: Lewandowski hits 300, Arsenal hit for -9, Manchester United's all-time record 28

In the Premier League, Manchester United created English league history at Molineux, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur find themselves at opposite ends of the table, while Liverpool and Chelsea shared the spoils in an absolute cracker. In LaLiga, there are six teams on seven points after the first three - the big two (Real Madrid and Barcelona) both won this weekend, Atletico Madrid drew. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund both won in the Bundesliga, but it's Wolfsburg who lead the table. Oh, and guess who's leading Ligue 1 with four wins in four?

By The Numbers brings you the best stats from the past two days -

Premier League

-9

Arsenal is only the second team in English top flight history to record 0 goals and a -9 goal differential through its first 3 matches of a league season. The last time it happened? 1953-54, when Manchester City did this, and finished 17th out of 22 teams that season, avoiding relegation. The fourth match of that particular season? Man City won 5-4 over Sunderland.

1

For the first time in top-flight history, Tottenham Hotspur have ended a matchday top of the league at the same time as Arsenal ended bottom. In fact, this is the first time Arsenal are at the bottom of the English first division (having played at least three league matches) since 25th October 1974.

3

Tottenham has won its opening 3 games by 1-0, while Wolverhampton has lost its first 3 PL games by 0-1. This is the first time both have happened in a single season. Spurs are only the fourth team to open a top flight English season with three 1-0 wins after Man City in 1912-13, Huddersfield in 1920-21 and Liverpool in 2013-14. Wolves, meanwhile, are just the second team to open a season with three straight 1-0 defeats after... Spurs in 1974-75.

20

Mason Greenwood is now one of only four players in Premier League history to score 20+ goals as a teenager -- after Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Wayne Rooney. Illustrious company, that.

28

Manchester United are now unbeaten in their last 28 PL away games (W18 D10) -- a new record for the longest unbeaten away run in English Football League history.

50

Michail Antonio, the PL's form forward, is the first player to hit 50 top-flight league goals for West Ham since Tony Cottee reached that landmark in the 1985-86 campaign.

100

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now been in charge of Manchester United for 100 PL games (W53 D28 L19). Of the eight previous managers to reach the milestone for the club in the top-flight, only Ernest Mangnall (1903-12) won more (54) of his first 100 in charge.

30, 000

Chris Wood's strike was the 30,000th goal ever scored in the PL.

LaLiga

1

It's strange when Atletico Madrid get out-Atletico-d, but that's what happened when Villarreal came to town. Atleti had 23 shots on goal, Villarreal, 2. The score? 2-2. They are, in fact, the first team to score two or more goals with 100% of their attempted shots in a single LaLiga game against a Simeone-led Atleti.

1

Memphis Depay & Frenkie de Jong combined to score the first La Liga goal with a Dutch scorer & assist-giver since March 2009 (Klaas Jan-Huntelaar & Arjen Robben), and the first for Barcelona since Jan 2004 (Patrick Kluivert & Giovani Van Bronckhorst).

Serie A

3

Juventus, 12th in Serie at the moment, have failed to win either of their first two Serie A matches of a season only for the third time in their last 52 top-flight campaigns (after 2010/11 and 2015/16).

6

Pepe Reina has provided two times more assists than any other goalkeeper in Europe's top-5 leagues since 2007/08 - his assist in Lazio's 6-1 demolition of Spezia was his sixth in the period.

15

Olivier Giroud has become the 15th Frenchman to have found the net for AC Milan in the Serie A -- they are the club with the most different scorers from France in the competition.

Bundesliga

9

VfL Wolfsburg have collected nine points from their first three games of a Bundesliga campaign for the very first time. They will end a day top of the table for the first time since winning the title in 2008-09 (min. three games played).

13

Robert Lewandowski has equaled Bayern Munich's club record of 16 straight games with a goal, tying Gerd Muller's streak during the 1969-70 season.

15

Bayern's 5-0 swatting aside of Hertha Berlin, saw Lewandowski score his 15th Bundesliga hat trick (extending own record). In fact, this is the 3rd straight season that Lewandowski has scored at least one hat trick within the first 3 league games.

301

The hat trick means Lewandowski has scored 301 goals for Bayern in all comps. He's only the 2nd player in club history to reach 300 goals in all comps. The first? The great Gerd Muller, who scored 566.

Messi-Ronaldo watch

66

That was the minute in which Lionel Messi made his second ever-club debut. Lionel Messi in France, playing for PSG. This really will take some getting used to.
