- Al Hilal superstar Neymar has green-lit a return to his boyhood club Santos on loan, Ben Jacobs reports. Negotiations are now reportedly underway between the two clubs, though no agreement has been reached. Neymar started his career with Brazilian outfit Santos, scoring 107 goals in 177 league appearances between 2009 and 2013. Prior to Santos' interest, the 32-year-old was heavily linked with a move to MLS, with Chicago Fire FC among the clubs interested. Neymar's Al Hilal deal is set to expire this summer, meaning he'll become a free agent once any proposed loan move concludes.
- Three Bundesliga clubs are monitoring Lyon forward Rayan Cherki ahead of his anticipated exit, according to Sky Germany. The 21-year-old, who is set to be available next summer for around €22 million, is attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. While Cherki's current Lyon deal doesn't expire until 2026, there is a "secret verbal agreement" between the player and club that he'll be allowed to leave for a set fee at the end of the season.
- Juventus have entered the race to sign Chelsea's Renato Veiga with talks already underway, Fabrizio Romano has revealed. The versatile defender is also wanted by Dortmund, who are attempting to sign him on loan this month. Newcastle United's Lloyd Kelly is also on Juve's radar, as the Serie A giants aim to recruit a centre-back before the transfer window slams shut. Veiga, 21, joined Chelsea last summer but has found minutes hard to come by in the Premier League this season.
- The future of Brighton & Hove Albion's Julio Enciso could be decided next week amid continued interest in the player from Atalanta, Rudy Galetti reports. The forward was the subject of a bid from Atalanta earlier this month, although it fell short of Brighton's reported €40m asking price. While Atalanta are "still in the race" to sign him, other clubs around Europe are said to have renewed their interest in the 20-year-old.
- VfL Wolfsburg have made a loan offer for Brentford right-back Mads Roerslev, says Sky Sports. The proposed deal contains clauses to make the transfer a permanent one depending on the number of games he plays for the Bundesliga club. Roerslev, 25, is under contract at Brentford until June 2026. The Denmark international has played 18 times in the Premier League this season, contributing two assists.
