Manuel Lanzini has pulled out of Argentina's squad for the Olympics because of a knee injury.
Boca Juniors' Cristian Pavon will replace Lanzini in the 18-man squad, Argentina's federation announced on Tuesday.
Lanzini had been training with the team in Miami but will now return to London to join up with West Ham ahead of the Premier League season.

His participation at the Olympics could have seen him miss the Aug. 15 opener against Chelsea, but he could now be available for selection if fit.
A day earlier, West Ham were dealt another injury blow when defender Aaron Cresswell was ruled out four months with a knee injury.
Argentina will face Portugal, Algeria and Honduras in the group stage in Brazil, beginning Aug. 4.
