New minimalist Juventus logo sparks Twitter backlash from fans

As you may be aware, Juventus have proudly ditched the classic club crest that has served them well for the past 46 years in favour of a new, streamlined "logo."

The Bianconeri launched the new design at a ceremony in Milan on Monday night, with club president Andrea Agnelli heralding the logo as a "symbol of the Juventus way of living."

As you might expect, the general reaction has not been particularly favourable, with fans queuing up on social media to lambaste the minimalist 'J' badge.

There were a few less than positive, but otherwise reserved responses...

Some pointed out some awkward flaws in the design...

Some immediately pined for the good old days...

Though many, many others just plain didn't like what they were seeing...

And some just didn't care.

Without wishing to sound overly contrarian, we actually quite like the new look -- it's got a pleasingly retro 1970s feel about it.

What's the verdict, Toe Poke fans?
