LIVE Transfer Talk: Real Madrid watching RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo at Euro 2020

Amid all the action at Euro 2020 and the Copa America, the summer transfer window has opened for some leagues, with Europe's biggest clubs looking to make a splash in the transfer market. Check out the latest gossip below, and see all official deals here.

TOP STORY: Real eye Spain's Olmo on Euro duty

Real Madrid are using Euro 2020 as an opportunity to scout RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo, reports Sport Bild.

Olmo, the midfielder who came through the La Masia academy at Barcelona, started in Spain's draws against Sweden and Poland, but was left on the bench as Luis Enrique's side beat Slovakia 5-0 to reach the knockout stages, where they will come up against Croatia.

It was only in January 2020 that RB Leipzig paid Dinamo Zagreb €22 million for his services, but it's reported that the Bundesliga club will be looking to make a big profit if he moves on.

While they are showing an interest in Olmo, Bild suggests that Real Madrid will not be able to afford him this summer due to coronavirus constraints. This is also likely to impact Real's pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain talisman Kylian Mbappe, while city rivals are Atletico Madrid are also being linked with Olmo.

Real Madrid don't have a single player in the Spain squad at Euro 2020.

LIVE BLOG

22.50 BST: Have Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City and Serie A side Sassuolo struck a $6m deal for Gianluca Busio? Not so fast, according to MLS insider Tom Bogert.

One of the league's top young talents, Busio has been linked with several teams in Italy and the Netherlands. However, Bogert reports that there is no final deal between Neroverdi and SKC yet.

Busio, who has an Italian passport, is already one of the league's top playmakers with seven goals in 59 league appearances since 2017. He has yet to be called by United States senior squad but could also be part of Gregg Berhalter's plans at the CONCACAF Gold Cup next month.

22.15 BST: Burnley are keen to listen to offers for James Tarkowski, which could be good news for long time admirers West Ham United, according to Football Insider. The 28-year-old centre-back is eyeing an exit from Turf Moor as he enters the final year of his contract, and the Clarets prefer not to lose him on a free transfer.

Football Insider had previously reveiled that West Ham had submitted a series of bids that reached £30m, so it could be possible for the London club to once again come calling for Tarkowski.

21.20 BST: It appears to be a battle between Leeds United and AC Milan for Barcelona's Junior Firpo, according to Mundo Deportivo. The ex-Real Betis product is said to prefer a move out of La Liga with a slew of sides having the Dominican-born full-back on their radars.

Milan are asking for a loan, which could work in the favour of the teams seeking a permanent deal, including Leeds. Other teams to have been linked to him are West Ham United and Southampton.

Junior signed a five-year deal with Barcelona for €18m plus €12m in 2018 after coming up at Betis, but has found playing time hard to come by at Camp Nou.

20.30 BST: With sources telling ESPN that Manchester City are looking at Jack Grealish, here's what the potential deal would look like:

Why Jack Grealish to Manchester City is one to watch

Rob Dawson discusses Manchester City's possible record-breaking signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.

19.15 BST: After a big money move from Lille to AC Milan in 2018, it appears that Rafael Leao could see his days at the San Siro numbered. Marseille, Borussia Dortmund and Wolves are among the clubs that are eyeing the Portuguese striker, according to Gazetta dello Sport.

After a lacklustre first year, Leao bounced back this season as Milan finished second in the table behind rivals Inter, contributing six goals and six assists in 30 Serie A games.

18.30 BST: Most of the chatter has been about Kylian Mbappe possibly landing at Real Madrid, but Liverpool have also been in the conversation. According to Marca, the Merseysiders have asked about the PSG star's availability this summer. But like Madrid, the English side would need to free up funds and possibly move one of their top players such as Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah.

Mane and Salah didn't have their best performances this season so Jurgen Klopp's side could be looking to freshen the attack. Nonetheless, it would be hard to see Liverpool line up a move for Mbappe this summer and with the France star still not signing an extension at Parc des Princes, it's probably safer to say he'd prefer a Bernabeu move over Anfield.

17.40 BST: Lorenzo Insigne has been tearing it up with Italy at Euro 2020, and his performances appear to have persuaded Napoli to finally reward the forward with a new deal, reports Corriere Dello Sport.

Insigne, 30, has scored two goals and provided one assist in three appearances so far at the tournament, coming on the back of a 19-goal season in Serie A.

The Napoli captain, who has been at the club for his whole career save for three loan spells early in his career, is out of contract in 12 months and they could risk losing him on a free transfer next summer. But so far the two parties have struggled to reach agreement on the financial terms.

17.00 BST: Memphis Depay may have arrived at Barcelona on a free transfer from Lyon, but the Catalan club are making sure another club can't come in and sign him on the cheap.

Barca have used inflated release clauses in player contracts ever since they were powerless to stop Neymar walking away to Paris Saint-Germain for a €222m payment. Diario AS reports that Barca have inserted a €400m release clause into Depay's two-year contract, and we're pretty sure no club will be meeting that.

16.12 BST: Benfica have announced they have completed the signing of 24-year-old winger Gil Dias from AS Monaco.

Dias has signed a contract with Benfica through to the summer of 2026 having previously had loan spells with seven clubs, including Fiorentina, Nottingham Forest, Olympiakos and Granada. The fee is a reported €2m.

15.30 BST: England captain Harry Kane insists he is concentrating on Euro 2020 rather than his Tottenham future amid talk of a £100m bid from Manchester City.

Kane has made it clear he wants to leave Spurs this summer in search of silverware, but it's going to take a huge offer to convince the club to part with their key striker.

"To be honest, I feel like when I come away with England I'm just fully focused on England," he told a news conference. "My brother is my agent, but the only time I've spoken to my brother really over the last few weeks is, 'Good luck, let's get a win, and let's take England all the way.'

"After the games, I'll have one of the club physios just checking up, making sure that everything is okay, but other than that, not really [any contact]. I have good luck messages and things like that but nothing to do with the personal stuff with the club really.

"So, it doesn't really bother me about the outside noise. When I'm here I'm with the boys, I try to help the boys, be a leader in the team. I need to get to know the boys, see what makes certain players tick and helping the younger lads, so I feel like I've got enough on my plate to worry about anything outside of England."

14.49 BST: FC Salzburg forward Patson Daka has confirmed he is close to signing for Leicester City.

Daka, 22, has been electric since joining Salzburg in 2017, and in the last two seasons he has scored 61 goals in 87 appearances in all competitions.

The Zambia international has also been tracked by Chelsea and Liverpool, but it seems FA Cup winners Leicester will get their man.

"I will go to England and move to Leicester City," Daka told Krone Zeitung. "I had a great time here, Salzburg has become my second home. I will always be happy to come back here, but the Premier League has always been my big dream."

The newspaper expects Salzburg to receive upwards of €30m -- a record for an Austrian club -- as Leicester look to bolster their forward line as club legend Jamie Vardy moves towards the end of his career.

14.05 BST: The Sun reports that Brighton are not going to be bullied into allowing England international Ben White to join Arsenal for less than his true value. White, 23, has already been the subject of two transfer bids, first of £40m and a second of £45m plus £5m in add-ons. But that hasn't been enough for Arsenal to get their man and Brighton want even more.

The centre-back has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund but none of those clubs will pay £50m.

13.21 BST: Over in the Netherlands, De Telegraaf journalist Mike Verweij reckons Manchester United could be about to hijack Ajax's attempt to sign Kamaldeen Sulemana from Nordsjaelland.

Ajax have agreed a reported £12m deal for the 19-year-old winger, who is already a full Ghana international. However, a planned medical at the Amsterdam ArenA on Friday was called off.

Those close to Ajax fear a repeat of the Richarlison situation, when the Brazil forward rejected a contract offer at the last moment when offered more money by Premier League Watford.

"It is a complicated story. Ajax is talking with Nordsjaelland, but Manchester United seem to be too", Verweij told De Telegraaf's podcast. "That boy was in Amsterdam in the hotel next to the ArenA pending an agreement between Ajax and his agent.

"That could be time wasting. I am afraid that Ajax will have to fear a Richarlison situation. But everything is being tried to keep him in Amsterdam.

"It will probably be much more interesting for that agent to go to Manchester United with Sulemana. The commissions in England are even higher than at Ajax, but I don't know whether that is also in the player's interest."

In another twist, a post on the player's Instagram account on Friday suggested he had already returned to Norway and to training with Nordsjaelland. Have Ajax missed out to United?

12.30 BST: Arsenal couldn't sell Emile Smith Rowe. Or could they? It's the rumour that won't go away, with the 20-year-old's contract expiring in a year's time. Aston Villa have already had a £25m bid rejected by the Gunners, who insist he isn't for sale. But the Express & Star in the Midlands reports that Villa boss Dean Smith is set to go in with an improved bid. If Arsenal sell Smith Rowe to Villa, there will be mutiny among the fans!

11.47 BST: It's fair to say that Lucas Torreira's career has never really taken off at Arsenal. The 25-year-old Uruguay international joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in a £26m deal three years ago, but was loaned out to Atletico Madrid last season. Now the midfielder's agent has said that Torreira, who started his career at Pescara, is ready for a return to Serie A.

"He wants to go back to Italy," Pablo Bentancur told Tuttomercatoweb. "They [clubs] called me from France, Russia and Spain. But Lucas wants to embrace the Italian championship again to prove his worth. Arsenal have understood the situation and will come to meet us ".

11.00 BST: Manchester City are close to reaching an agreement with Aston Villa for Jack Grealish, sources told ESPN on Friday.

Sources told ESPN's Mark Ogden earlier this month that City boss Pep Guardiola had made Grealish a key target along with Harry Kane, and now City are ready to pay around £100m for the midfielder. The deal would be a British record if it goes through, eclipsing the £89.3m Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba in 2016.

10.19 BST: The agent of Timo Werner has told Sport1 that the Chelsea striker will stay at the club and prove he can cut it in England.

Werner, 25, managed only six Premier League goals in his debut season after a £47.5m move from RB Leipzig, and was guilty of missing a glut of chances. But his representative, Karlheinz Forsterbe, does not anticipate a move.

"You can't rule out anything, but if I had to assess it at the moment, then I would say very clearly that Timo will stay at Chelsea," Forsterbe said. "He feels comfortable there. A move will not be an issue in the foreseeable future.

"Of course, I don't know what will happen in three or four years. Football is fast moving."

09.30 BST: Raphael Varane is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer, with only one year left on his contract, and he continues to be linked with Manchester United.

Now the Independent reports that Varane has made a move to Old Trafford his No. 1 priority.

However, the 28-year-old centre-back is said to be looking for wages of around £400,000-a-week, which could put United off. He has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain.

PAPER GOSSIP

- Sergio Ramos has made a move to Paris Saint-Germain his priority, according to Foot Mercato. The Spaniard has been strongly linked with the Parisians since it was revealed that he'd leave Real Madrid when his contract expires on Wednesday. It now seems more likely that the Parc des Princes will be his next destination.

- Juventus are looking to offload Arthur this summer, but his price could be a problem, according to Calciomercato. The Italian giants are looking at Sassuolo's Manuel Locatelli and Barcelona's Miralem Pjanic, which would put Arthur further down the pecking order after failing to shine in Turin. The report says that Barca could look to loan out the Brazilian or include him in a swap deal.

- Real Sociedad and Leeds United are looking at Blackburn Rovers forward Ben Brereton, but La Real will likely only make a move if Alexander Isak departs, reports AS. Brereton has impressed while on international duty with Chile at the Copa America, so the 22-year-old could soon be taking a step up from the Championship.

- Everton are in talks with Sergio Romero but could face competition from Juventus and Celta Vigo, according to The Athletic. The Argentine become a free agent next week when his Manchester United contract comes to an end.

- Preston North End are closing in on a deal for right-back Matthew Olosunde, who has made one appearance for the United States, reports Lancashire Live. The 23-year-old was playing his football for Rotherham United last term and would become Preston's fourth signing of the summer if a deal goes through.
