Stats: Ronaldo congratulated by Pele for 770; Lewandowski first since Messi

Another weekend, another cracking display of football. Cristiano Ronaldo went from 767 career goals (official matches) to 770 in around half an hour as Juventus beat Cagliari 3-1. Arsenal won the north London derby 2-1. Manchester United, Manchester City and Leicester City all won. Real Madrid came from behind to beat Elche, and close the gap at the top on Atletico Madrid to six after they were held to a draw by Getafe. AC Milan lost to Napoli and Inter Milan beat Torino, meaning Inter are now nine points ahead of their cross-town rivals.

Here are the best stats from all the action --

Premier League

3

Chelsea have had more goalless draws in 10 PL games under Thomas Tuchel (3) than they did in 57 under Frank Lampard (2).

5

Sheffield United's Paul Heckingbottom is only the third manager in Premier League history to lose by 5+ goals in his first match in charge, after Alan Smith in 1994 (Crystal Palace 1-6 Liverpool) and Roberto Di Matteo in 2010 (West Brom 0-6 Chelsea). To put this into further perspective, Sheffield United conceded five goals only once under Chris Wilder (227 games, all competitions) and never lost by a 3-goal margin.

9

Tottenham have now lost nine games in the PL this season -- that's the joint-most José Mourinho has ever suffered in a single league campaign in his managerial career (nine in 2015-16 with Chelsea).

13

Marc Albrighton has 13 PL assists as a substitute; only Ryan Giggs and Theo Walcott (14 each) have registered more assists from the bench.

20

Alexandre Lacazette's penalty was the 20th one to be scored in a PL north London derby -- no other fixture has had more penalty goals scored in the competition.

45

Tottenham have dropped 45 points from winning positions against Arsenal in the PL, the most of any team against a specific opponent in the competition.

La Liga

72.7%

Atletico Madrid had 72.7% possession against Getafe (0-0), their highest figure in a La Liga game since at least 2005-06.

100

Sevilla FC won the 100th Seville derby vs Real Betis -- this is their 47th victory. (Betis have won 30, drawn 23).

184

Athletic Bilbao's Inaki Williams has played 184 consecutive La Liga games. That's the third-highest in the league's history, along with Andoni Zubizarreta.

Bundesliga

32

Robert Lewandowski scored his 32nd goal of this Bundesliga season against Werder Bremen on Saturday. He's now only eight goals shy of the record for a single Bundesliga season (40 by Gerd Muller in 1971-72).

Lewandowski joins Muller as the only players in Bundesliga history to have multiple seasons of 32+ goals (Lewandowski: 19-20, 20-21; Muller: 1969-70, 71-72, 72-73).

Lewandowski is the first player to score 32 goals through 25 matchdays in a top five European league since Lionel Messi in 2012-13 La Liga (38).

268

It was also Lewandowski's 268th Bundesliga goal, tying Klaus Fischer for second-most in league history. Number one is still a fair bit away --Muller, with 365.

Ronaldo-Messi watch

Some records fell by the wayside as Ronaldo was in the mood against Cagliari. Messi and Barcelona play later on Monday.

3

Ronaldo has scored the second-fastest hat-trick of his career -- three goals in the first 32 minutes. His fastest came in September 2015, when he scored three against Espanyol in 20 minutes.

57

This is Ronaldo's 57th hattrick of his career for club and country -- but only his second in Serie A (coincidentally the first came against Cagliari as well). And since you're probably wondering, that's three more hat tricks than Messi has (54) for club and country.

18/18

With his goal in the Sardegna Arena, Ronaldo has now scored in each of 18 stadiums he has played at in Serie A.

770

Ronaldo now has 770 career goals in official games for club and country. Pele took to Instagram to congratulate him on crossing his record.

Since football's world governing body FIFA does not keep an official record of who is on top of the all-time scoring list, it is a benchmark that is hotly contested. According to the Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF), an online database of historical soccer statistics that is used as a general guide by several mainstream sports media outlets, including ESPN, Pele has scored 775 goals across additional appearances for a "military team" and for a "Sao Paolo Selection" between 1959 and 1962 -- eight more than Pele himself claims.
