Chelsea also beat Everton 2-0 and saw Cole Palmer give them the lead before Malo Gusto made the game safe.
Meanwhile in Europe, Atlético Madrid beat Valencia 2-1 in LaLiga, Wrexham grabbed a late equalizer to tie 2-2 with Watford in the Championship, and Wolfsburg beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 3-1 in the German Bundesliga.
