          The summer transfer window might not be open yet in Europe, but teams are getting ready for it, and there's plenty of gossip swirling around. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

          TOP STORY: Real Madrid ready to step up interest in Harry Kane

          Harry Kane is back on the frontpages in Spain, with Diario AS calling the Tottenham Hotspur forward "a priority" for Real Madrid in its top story, while Marca says "Harry Kane is the man" and "the favourite" in the LaLiga club's search for a centre forward.

          Madrid were already looking to bring in a striker this summer even before doubts emerged over the future of Karim Benzema, as he considers a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

          According to AS, Kane is Madrid's "No. 1 target," regardless of Benzema's final decision, while Marca reports that a meeting between Florentino Perez, managing director Jose Angel Sanchez and coach Carlo Ancelotti on Thursday identified Kane as the outstanding candidate, with Chelsea's Kai Havertz as an alternative.

          At a news conference on Saturday, Ancelotti said: "I can talk about my future, I won't talk about the future of the squad, which is under way. I've said many times, Harry Kane is a great player. He's a Tottenham player. We have to respect the player, and Tottenham too."

          It isn't the first time the England captain, 29, has been linked with Madrid, but with his Spurs contract up in 2024, both newspapers claim that he could be within reach, although the transfer fee involved would still likely be over €100 million.

          Manchester United are also strongly linked with Kane.

          21.30 BST: Liverpool as well as unnamed clubs in the Premier League and LaLiga are keen to sign Fulham left-back Kenny Tete, according to the Sun. The 27-year-old Netherlands international has just a year left on his contract at Craven Cottage, with an option to extend for another 12 months, and suitors are hopeful that the lack of progress on a new deal will open the door to taking the player out of west London.

          20.43 BST: Just how mighty is the financial strength of the Premier League? While Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi has been linked Napoli, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, and is reportedly desperate to return to boyhood club Roma, the Neroverdi director Giovanni Carnevali has made it clear that his side are only interested in doing business with well-heeled English clubs.

          "I hear that many Italian sides have approached Frattesi, but not by talking to us," Football Italia reports that Carnevali said to broadcaster DAZN on Saturday. "As far as we are concerned, the only market for Frattesi is the Premier League and we had some contacts."

          19.56 BST: Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are leading the race to sign free-agent left-back Raphael Guerreiro, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 29-year-old Portugal international's contract with Borussia Dortmund expires at the end of the month, and his representatives have already met with the Spanish capital club about a potential free transfer.

          19.09 BST: Roma striker Tammy Abraham has emerged as Everton's No. 1 target to bolster their frontline this summer, according to the Sun. The Italian capital club are open to offers for the 25-year-old former Chelsea starlet as they teeter on the brink of financial fair play regulations, and the Toffees are keen to bring the England international back to the Premier League in a £27m deal.

          18.22 BST: The Times writes that Newcastle United are confident of signing Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney ahead of Aston Villa. The Gunners are looking to raise funds for a summer spending spree that could include West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, and earning a £30m transfer fee for the 25-year-old Scotland international would be a good start.

          17.35 BST: Juventus won't sanction the departure of striker Dusan Vlahovic unless they receive a transfer fee of €80m, Tuttosport reports. Without Champions League football next season, the Bianconeri need help balancing the books, and recouping the amount they paid to Fiorentina in January 2022 to sign the 23-year-old Serbia international would go some way to doing so.

          Bayern Munich are credited with interest, but are said to be considering a €50m fee. Chelsea are also monitoring the situation.

          16.48 BST: Inter Miami have lodged their formal offer to Lionel Messi in hopes that the Argentina captain and pending free agent will move to MLS in July, according to TyC Sports' Gaston Edul. The 35-year-old will leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires this summer, and has been linked with David Beckham's club in Miami, a return to Barcelona and lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia.

          16.01 BST: Portuguese outlet A Bola reports that goalkeeper Diogo Costa will leave FC Porto this summer, bound for the Premier League.

          The report says the deal will be concluded after this weekend's Portuguese Cup final, with FC Porto taking on Braga on Sunday.

          Manchester United have been strongly linked with 23-year-old and A Bola says the Red Devils are firm favourites to make the signing, with Chelsea and Newcastle also interested.

          15.15 BST: Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez is targeting the return of Lionel Messi and the signing of a defensive midfielder this summer.

          Messi, 35, will play his final game for Paris Saint-Germain this weekend, with his contract expiring at the end of June, and Xavi has not hidden his desire to bring the forward back to the Catalan club.

          "The priorities are very clear, I would really like Messi to return," Xavi said in a news conference ahead of Barca's final LaLiga game of the season away at Celta Vigo on Sunday.

          "[Messi] knows that and I have spoken with him. From there, Leo aside, the other priority is a midfielder [to replace Busquets] in the ideal scenario."

          14.32 BST: Carlo Ancelotti has said he has "no doubts" that Karim Benzema's future lies at Real Madrid after ESPN reported that the forward had decided to leave the club and accept an offer from Saudi Arabia.

          Benzema, 35, had been expected to stay at Madrid until June 2024, but it emerged this week that he was considering a lucrative move to Saudi side Al Ittihad.

          The forward would not be drawn on the subject during an award ceremony in Madrid on Thursday, telling Marca that "for the time being I'm here" and "reality isn't the internet."

          "Benzema is ready to play tomorrow," Ancelotti said on Saturday, in a news conference ahead of Madrid's final LaLiga game of the season against Athletic Club. "He has another year on his contract. So I think we have no doubts here."

          13.49 BST: The Guardian reports that Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Mason Mount as they move closer to signing the midfielder, and are now in talks with Chelsea over the transfer fee.

          Mount, 24, has one year remaining on his Chelsea contract and is not thought to be interested in an extension. Liverpool were strongly linked with the England international, but United appear to have pushed to the front of the queue. Arsenal and Bayern Munich have been linked too.

          The report says that United are prepared to pay a fee in the region of £50-60m, but Chelsea want £70m.

          ESPN sources revealed on Thursday that United had moved into pole position to sign Mount, but had reservations over the fee.

          13.04 BST: Newcastle United are set to complete the signing of winger Yankuba Minteh from Danish club Odense in a £6m deal, reports The Sun.

          Minteh, 18, was called up to the Gambia senior national team last month and is seen as an exciting prospect.

          The player has been left out of the Odense squad for Saturday's game against FC Midtjylland, and will travel to Newcastle next week to complete the formalities of the move.

          "It is a difficult decision, but with the risks and opportunities in this case, I have concluded that it is overall the best decision that he sit out the match against FC Midtjylland," Odense boss Bjorn Wesstrom said.

          12.21 BST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he has no plans to retire despite his contract expiring at AC Milan, and no sign of an extension.

          The 41-year-old, who became the oldest ever goal scorer in Serie A history in March when he netted against Udinese, believes he still has something to offer.

          "I'm not one to give up but there must also be joy in what you do," Ibrahimovic told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I can't help but have peace in what I can do as number one, playing football. But we're not there yet. I think I still have something to give. If I think about quitting? I don't think so. If I have to continue playing? I think so.

          "I won't give myself peace. I haven't found the balance. When everything comes, everything comes immediately. This thought is spinning in my head. My head is too strong, I feel like Superman every time I come back, but I have to have balance."

          Ibrahimovic has also played for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and LA Galaxy in a glittering career.

          11.35 BST: Chelsea are open to moving on forward Kai Havertz this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano. Real Madrid are reported to hold "concrete interest" in the 23-year-old, with manager Carlo Ancelotti viewing him as a potential transfer option.

          While Chelsea wouldn't be open to any deal involving a loan, they would allow the Germany international to make the switch to the Bernabeu should Los Blancos propose a transfer fee that meets their valuation. Havertz played regularly for Chelsea last season, making 47 appearances across all competitions, but having scored just nine goals, new manager Mauricio Pochettino could be looking for a more clinical No. 9 to lead his forward line next season.

          10.50 BST: Chelsea have put Brighton's Moises Caicedo and Sporting CP's Manuel Ugarte at the top of their list of targets for midfield reinforcements, reports the Guardian.

          Caicedo, 21, was courted by Arsenal in the winter window, with two transfer offers turned down -- the second worth £70m. The Ecuador international stayed at Brighton, and signed a new contract when the window closed -- but it was always expected clubs would come back in for him at the end of the season. Liverpool have also shown an interest in a player the Seagulls value at £80m.

          Ugarte, meanwhile, has a £52m release clause, so prising him from his Portuguese club may me more straightforward.

          10.00 BST: Sergio Ramos will leave Paris Saint-Germain after their final game of the season on Saturday, both player and club confirmed late on Friday.

          Ramos' contract, which is due to expire this month, will not be renewed, making him available on a free transfer.

          "Tomorrow is a special day, tomorrow I will say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye to @PSG_inside," Ramos posted on social media. "I don't know in how many places one can feel at home, but without a doubt PSG, the fans, and Paris were one of them for me.

          "Thank you for two special years in which I was able play in every tournament and give my all. I will face new challenges, I will wear other colours, but first, and for the last time: ¡#AllezParis."

          - Bayern Munich are preparing to make an offer for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, writes Sky Sports Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg. The Bundesliga champions are reported to have held talks in London over a potential move for the 24-year-old, and confidence is beginning to grow among the Allianz Arena hierarchy, who are looking to challenge Arsenal for his signature.

          - Barcelona are keeping tabs on Sporting CP midfielder Manuel Ugarte, but he isn't their priority option, reports Sport. The 22-year-old's representative, Jorge Mendes, has been keeping the Blaugrana updated, but while the LaLiga champions would be the preferred destination, manager Xavi Hernandez is currently focusing his attention on Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan and Wolves' Ruben Neves.

          - Internazionale and Benfica have shown interest in Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba, according to Marca. The 34-year-old will become a free agent when his contract expires later this month, and with Atletico Madrid recently pulling out of negotiations for his signature, it looks as though he could be about to leave LaLiga. He is also said to have told his representatives not to begin official talks with any other club before he leaves the Spotify Camp Nou.

          - Winger Leroy Sane is planning to remain at Bayern Munich this summer, writes Sport1. The 27-year-old is reported to have a positive relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel, while members of the club's hierarchy want him to stay too. Sane contributed eight goals and seven assists in 32 league appearances last season.

          - On-loan Napoli midfielder Tanguy Ndombele wants to return to parent club Tottenham Hotspur next season, reports Foot Mercato. The Serie A champions have an option in the loan deal that would allow them to sign him for €30m, but he has informed the club of his wish to return to the Premier League. Ndombele made eight starts for Napoli in helping them win the title, with his other 22 appearances coming from the bench.
