The Montreal Impact have acquired Panama international midfielder Omar Browne on loan until the end of the season, the club announced on Tuesday.
The deal gives Montreal the option to buy the 24-year-old Browne -- who joins from Panama's C.A. Independiente de La Chorrera -- as part of the deal.

"Omar is a young attacking player who adds depth to our group," said Impact manager Remi Garde. "He's technically gifted, quick, and powerful.
"It's interesting to have a left-footed player who can play both on the left and on the right. I wish him the warmest of welcomes."
In addition to his time at Independiente, Browne has also had spells at Plaza Amador, Sporting San Miguelito and Chorrillo.
For his country, Browne has been capped four times.
