Galatasaray have parted company with Jan Olde Riekerink after less than a year in charge of the Turkish side, chairman Dursun Ozbek has said.
It is reported that former Juventus defender and current Karabukspor manager Igor Tudor is set to take charge although no appointment has been confirmed.
"After our board meeting, we decided to part ways with Riekerink and we've informed him about this decision," Ozbek told reporters. "We want to assign our new coach as soon as possible."
Appointed in March 2016, Riekerink led Galatasaray to the Turkish Cup but failed to gain the results needed in the league.
After 20 games Galatasaray sit third in the Turkish Super Lig, five points behind leaders Besiktas. They have lost two of their last three games.
