Cristiano Ronaldo is 33 years old and one of the greatest footballers of all time but no matter how successful or famous you are, when you join a new club in football that means one thing: Get ready to sing.
The new Juventus star was given no preferential treatment and didn't shrink from the traditional football initiation of singing in front of your teammate, instead belting out a rendition of "A minha Casinha" by Portuguese rock band Xutos & Pontapes.

Singing in front of your new teammates has become a rite of passage of sorts for footballers but if anyone was ever qualified to escape the humiliation of doing so, one would have thought it would have been the five-time Ballon d' Or winner. In fact, CR7 deserves some credit for being a good sport and partaking, as the Portuguese stood up proudly on a chair and sung just like the rest of Juve's newcomers.
While Ronaldo gets credit for participation, we cannot give him quite as high a score for execution. We shall see if Ronaldo is more on song Saturday as he makes his Serie A debut at Chievo Verona (12:30 PM ET on ESPN+). One thing is for sure, based on this performance it doesn't look as if he will be quitting his day job anytime soon.
