Coronavirus isolation: Pogba's pram race, Lindelof's dress and Otamendi's lego

With almost all football postponed for the next month because of the coronavirus, star players have found themselves at a loose end.

With many training grounds off limits, clubs have sent footballers home, where they're adhering to an isolation period for the next few weeks on their personal schedules. How are they passing the time, though?

ESPN will be keeping a daily eye on what the world's best are getting up to, as well as how clubs are keeping busy by battling in online competitions against each other.

Players in isolation: Thursday March 19 | #Stayathomechallenge takes off

1. Paul Pogba

Manchester United midfielder Pogba is keeping himself entertained by challenging his partner Zulay to a series of simple running races.

There is a twist to the format too, with Pogba also pushing the couple's child in a pram at the same time.

2. Victor Lindelof

Meanwhile, Pogba's United teammate was busy surprising his wife Maja with a special champagne breakfast to celebrate the launch of her new fashion collection.

Of course, it therefore stands to reason that the Swede would wear one of her dress designs for the occasion.

3. John Terry

Former Chelsea captain Terry dug out his miniature Champions League winners trophy for a bit of tea bag throwing practise at home in his kitchen.

"I was going to put my kit on but I couldn't find my shin pads," the Aston Villa assistant manager joked.

4. Neymar

With a good opportunity to catch up on his fitness, Brazil star Neymar (who is back in his homeland now) went through a rigorous training session in a beach volleyball pit.

The PSG star shared three increasingly dilapidated photos of himself whilst being put through the intense workout which he captioned thus: 1. Training; 2. Tired but happy; 3: Dead!

5. Lionel Messi

With the world on tenterhooks, Messi finally got round to attempting the #StayAtHomeChallenge.

As you might imagine, never has juggling a roll of toilet paper been made to look so easy.

6. Thierry Henry

The Arsenal legend and now Montreal Impact head coach also joined the TP party, injecting some customary style and flair into his effort.

7. Chris Kamara

Openly flaunting the rules in several senses, pundit Chris Kamara dug a football -- remember footballs? -- out of the closet for his #StayAtHomeChallenge attempt as toilet paper is pretty scarce right now.

8. Xavi

Out in Doha, Messi's former Barcelona cohort Xavi is passing the time in quarantine by learning (and nailing) a little social distance-friendly choreography with his wife, Nuria.

9. Dani Alves

Brazil right-back Alves is one of many footballers working out at home for the foreseeable, though the Sao Paulo man is doing so in his own inimitable style.

10. Nicolas Otamendi

Perhaps the most wholesome pastime of all belongs to Otamendi, who has spent the last couple of days at home, studiously constructing a Bugatti Veyron out of Lego with his young son.
