Big 12 recruiting scorecard: Baylor could make big move this week

Here's what's new on the Big 12 recruiting trail entering Week 4:

BAYLOR

Total commits: 13

ESPN 300 commits: 6

The latest: Could Baylor make a big move this week with ESPN 300 WR Devin Duvernay? His twin brother, ATH Donovan Duvernay, is reportedly planning to make his commitment Monday night, and it appears that decision could be a Baylor vs. TCU battle. The defensive back/receiver has a shorter list of offers than his touted brother but will end up being a versatile take and perhaps a steal.

IOWA STATE

Total commits: 6

ESPN 300 commits: 0

The latest: Iowa State picked up a new commitment last week from OT Grant Hermanns out of New Mexico. He turned down offers from Texas Tech, Washington State and Kansas to pick the Cyclones and will make his official visit for the Texas game. Hermanns is only 255 pounds and will have some bulking up to do to play tackle at ISU, but he could also end up at defense end.

KANSAS

Total commits: 10

ESPN 300 commits: 0

The latest: Kansas' coaching staff took advantage of its bye week by hitting the road to check out recruits across the country. Head coach David Beaty stayed close to home on Friday night and checked out four-star DE Amani Bledsoe at Lawrence High. Bledsoe has KU in his top six and took an unofficial visit for the Memphis game.

KANSAS STATE

Total commits: 11

ESPN 300 commits: 0

The latest: Kansas State got a visit from Iowa Western Community College players over the weekend, which is certainly useful because that's become one of the better juco programs in the Midwest. One name to watch among those IWCC players: LB Detric Bing-Dukes. The former three-star recruit started his career at Georgia before transferring last month.

OKLAHOMA

Total commits: 10

ESPN 300 commits: 2

The latest: Oklahoma made a big impression on ESPN 300 WR Tyrie Cleveland during his official visit for the Tulsa game. Bob Stoops and his coaching staff gave Cleveland a surprise birthday celebration during his time in Norman. And guess who took the visit with Cleveland? High school teammate DT Ed Oliver, the nation's 5 overall recruit. That's a big deal.

OKLAHOMA STATE

Total commits: 15

ESPN 300 commits: 0

The latest: The battle for ESPN 300 OT Tramonda Moore is starting to get more serious. The rising lineman from Oklahoma City watched Alabama play in Dallas for Week 1, visited Oklahoma State the next week for the Pokes' win over Central Arkansas and took a trip to TCU over the weekend for the SMU game. Moore has not revealed his frontrunner yet, nor does he have a deadline for a decision.

TCU

Total commits: 15

ESPN 300 commits: 5

The latest: TCU remains in good shape for one of the nation's top pass-catchers, Louisiana WR Isaiah Graham. The ESPN 300 standout is expected to take a visit to Fort Worth before making his decision at the end of October. He took an official visit to Arkansas this weekend and is still planning to see Tennessee and Miami as well.

TEXAS

Total commits: 9

ESPN 300 commits: 3

The latest: Defensive line will have to be a priority for Texas in its 2016 class, and the Horns continue to strike out on that front. The latest miss came last week when ESPN 300 DE Justin Madubuike committed to Texas A&M. New targets will emerge, but flipping ESPN 300 DE Rahssan Thornton and OLB/DE Erick Fowler from LSU before signing day might have to be a priority.

TEXAS TECH

Total commits: 24

ESPN 300 commits: 0

The latest: Texas Tech lost a commitment over the weekend from West Mesquite (Texas) TE Donte Coleman. The three-star recruit had been committed to TTU since March but reopened his recruiting process after taking an official visit to Nebraska earlier this month. Coleman has also been in touch with West Virginia and could set up a visit there.

WEST VIRGINIA

Total commits: 19

ESPN 300 commits: 1

The latest: The Mountaineers will have a big-time playmaker on campus this weekend for their showdown with Maryland: ESPN 300 WR Binjimin Victor. That'll be the first official visit for the talented wideout from Coconut Creek, Florida. He attended Miami's overtime win over Nebraska over the weekend and plans to take official visits to Ohio State, Florida and Tennessee this fall.
