Having recently joined the Premier League 100 club, Peter Crouch has had his impressive achievement immortalised as all great strikers should -- as a mug.
The lofty Stoke veteran scored his 100th top flight goal against Everton last month and dusted off his trademark 'robot' dance to celebrate. Now a local pottery firm have produced a tribute mug in honour of Crouch which, rather fittingly, is twice as tall as a regular coffee cup.

The man himself didn't seem quite sure how to greet the news.

"The Crouch mug is nine inches high, so 22.86 centimetres, and locally made. We've already had a lot of interest in them," pottery owner Keith Martin told the Stoke Sentinel.
"It goes without saying that with Stoke City being the premier football team in the area it was thought that there would be enough interest in sharing Peter's achievement.
"We're a small company and have season ticket holders employed here, which added to the idea of creating the mugs."
