Queretaro's state department confirmed on Tuesday that 14 arrests have been made regarding possible involvement in fan violence during a Liga MX match between Queretaro and Atlas last Saturday that left 26 people injured, three critically.
The 14 individuals, all male, could potentially be charged with various offenses, including violence in a sporting event and attempted homicide.
The arrests were made through police searches that also collected sports apparel with Queretaro logos, tennis shoes with possible blood stains, cell phones, and more.

ESPN Mexico reported that the 10 that were originally arrested were to go before a judge on Tuesday.
Later in the day, authorities said three more individuals were apprehended and that an additional person turned himself in with the assistance of his mother.
Liga MX announced on Tuesday that Queretaro would not be disaffilated from the league but that it will play home matches with no fans for one year and ban the barras supporters' groups for three years. In addition, the team's ownership group would be banned from league activities for five years and the club were to be sold by the end of the year.
As of Monday night, ESPN Mexico reported that two people remain hospitalized in Queretaro's General Hospital.
Over the weekend, Queretaro governor Mauricio Kuri said that 26 people in total required medical attention, 24 men and two women, from the incident. No deaths were reported.
Saturday's match was suspended in the 62nd minute after multiple fights broke out in the stands. Security personnel opened the gates to the field so that fans, including women and children, could escape the clashes.
Both FIFA and CONCACAF condemned the assaults and bloodshed, which led to the suspension of Sunday's remaining Liga MX games.
