A sixth division team has been knocked out of the French Cup after arriving late to a match because they ended up in the wrong place, the French FA confirmed to ESPN.
Tarbes were scheduled to face 10th division minnows Vabres-l'Abbaye on Saturday and were clear favourites heading into the fourth round tie.

The team took to the road at 11.45 a.m. local time to arrive for kickoff at 5 p.m. but the coach driver entered the wrong destination on his GPS and wrote "Vabre" rather than "Vabres."
As a result of this error, the team arrived on time for the match but they were 80 kilometres away from the stadium they were supposed to play in.
The team realised the mistake and set off to Vabres-l'Abbaye but were slowed down by a cycling race and a narrow bridge and arrived to the correct destination an hour later than planned.
The whole journey lasted seven hours and by the time they had reached the stadium, the officials had disqualified Tarbes from the competition.
The Vabres-l'Abbaye players were keen for the two sides to take part in a friendly match but the Tarbes manager was enraged by the mix-up, and declined the offer and his team returned to the Hautes-Pyrenees.
