TOP STORY: United still favourites for Maguire
Progress appears to be slow in the Harry Maguire saga, yet Manchester United remain confident they'll be able to seal his signature for £75 million, according to the Daily Mail.
Leicester are still insistent that their centre-back's transfer value is £85m, while United, with renewed optimism after rivals Manchester City admitted they weren't willing to spend such a high figure, are still hoping to lure the Englishman to Old Trafford for £10m less.
It's thought that Maguire himself would rather move to City so he could play Champions League football this season, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to build his new-look United side around the Foxes defender.
Should Leicester sell Maguire, they've reportedly identified Burnley's James Tarkowski as a replacement for about £40m.

22.24 BST: We'll close Thursday's live edition of Transfer Talk by reviving a rumour from January. L'Equipe reports that Paris Saint-Germain have renewed their interest in Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye by submitting a €30m bid for the 29-year-old, while the Express adds that the Toffees won't listen to offers below €50m.
21.37 BST: Nicolo Barella will arrive in Milan in the coming hours to undergo a medical and sign the contract that will see him join Inter in a deal worth €45m, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
20.50 BST: Patrik Schick wants more playing time. Roma want to bring in another striker. These two ideals are at odds with one another, and Calciomercato cites Corriere dello Sport as reporting that the Giallorossi could send the 23-year-old forward to AC Milan in exchange for Suso.
20.03 BST: Barcelona have deposited the €120m buyout clause needed to release Antoine Griezmann from his Atletico Madrid contract, according to L'Equipe.
19.16 BST: The Evening Standard reports that Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is ready to leave Merseyside in search of first-team football, in an attempt to resurrect his career.
18.29 BST: Everton and RB Leipzig are in "advanced talks" over a £22.5m deal that would see Ademola Lookman return to the Red Bull Arena on a permanent basis following his successful loan spell with the Bundesliga club in 2017-18, reports the Mail.
17.42 BST: Mundo Deportivo reports that Philippe Coutinho's preferred destination, as he's pushed toward the exit at Barcelona, is Liverpool. What could prove to be problematic, however, is that the Reds don't value their former No. 10 at anywhere near the €135m they have so far received for the Brazil international. So, the question becomes: At how much of a discount would Barca be willing to sell the 27-year-old?
16.55 BST: Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has told Sky Sports that he is prone to a "left field signing" and confirmed his interest in bringing free-agent midfielder Ravel Morrison to the club.
The 26-year-old has not played in the Premier League since 2013, playing in Italy, Mexico and Norway, as well as a brief spell in the Championship, since then.
Morrison is currently a free-agent after his former club Ostersunds, in Norway, did not renew his contract.
16.05 BST: Roma are ready to make a bid for Spurs centre-back Toby Alderweireld, La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported.
The 30-year-old Belgium international has just one year left on his current deal and could be available for around €12m.
15.20 BST: Toronto have completed the signing of striker Patrick Mullins from Columbus Crew, the club announced in a statement.
Mullins, 27, is currently in his sixth season in MLS, having scored 24 goals in 122 appearances.
15.03 BST: Juventus could look to have a summer clear out with striker Gonzalo Higuain and defender Joao Cancelo both set for the exit door, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Alongside Higuain and Cancelo, other stars set to leave the club include midfielder Sami Khedira, striker Mario Mandzukic, midfielder Blaise Matuidi, goalkeeper Mattia Perin, and striker Moise Kean.
New head coach Maurizio Sarri is reportedly looking to raise €200m as the club close in on a deal for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt.
14.36 BST: Barcelona have decided not to push ahead with a move for Filipe Luis this summer, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.
The 33-year-old left-back's contract has expired at Atletico Madrid and the Catalans had considered bringing him in on a free to provide competition for Jordi Alba.
However, in the end, they have decided not to offer the Brazilian a deal and will pursue other targets. Alba is currently the only left-back in the first team squad.
14.09 BST: Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is set to sign a new four-year contract in the "next 48 hours," talkSPORT have reported.
Wilson will become one of the highest earners at the club, and effectively end any interest in his transfer availability.
The England international has been dogged by injury in recent years but has still managed to score 33 goals in 91 Premier League appearances for the club.
13.41 BST: Barcelona have completed the signing of 16-year-old wonderkid Louie Barry from West Brom, the club have announced.
Barry, who is yet to make a professional appearance, rejected a move to French giants PSG in favour of a move to La Masia at the eleventh-hour.
The striker had even undergone a medical in Paris last Thursday and was set to sign for the Ligue 1 side on Friday before a last-minute intervention from Barca saw him make a U-turn.
Barcelona must pay at least €130,000 to West Brom in training compensation for Barry, per FIFA's regulations, although sources have indicated to ESPN FC they are willing to pay more as a goodwill gesture.

13.20 BST: Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny stump up the money and buy himself out of his £90k-a-week contract after he refused to go to the club's U.S. preseason tour, the Evening Standard reported.
Arsenal were left angered when their 33-year-old captain refused to go on tour with the squad in an effort to force through a move to French club Bordeaux.
The Evening Standard said that the Koscielny, who has just one year left on his contract, will almost certainly be stripped of the captaincy, but no decision has been made yet.
12.29 BST: Arsenal are offering £40m plus three players in a bid to get a deal for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha over the line, the Sun have reported.
The Gunners are reportedly offering defenders Calum Chambers and Carl Jenkinson, as well as midfielder Mohamed Elneny, in their effort to tie up a deal for the Ivory Coast international.
The Sun reports that Arsenal value the fringe players at £40m, effectively doubling their previous offer for the 26-year-old attacker.
11.55 BST: Spanish side Real Betis have ruled out the return of PSG forward Jese Rodriguez, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish attacker, whose current deal at PSG runs until 2021, spent last season on loan at Real Betis.
Mundo Deportivo have reported that their sources said that "100 percent" Rodriguez will not sign for Betis this transfer window.
11.32 BST: PSG are reportedly keen on Southampton right-back Cedric Soares, according to Diario de Noticias.
The 29-year-old defender spent last season on loan at Inter Milan, making just four league appearances, but the Italian club decided not to take up the €11m option to buy at the end of the deal.
However, with the departure of Brazil international Daniel Alves and uncertainty surrounding remaining right-back Thomas Meunier, the Ligue 1 champions could look to Cedric to solve the problem.
11.04 BST: Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has told Corriere dello Sport that the club's move for James Rodriguez has stalled due to Real Madrid's asking price.
Los Blancos' reportedly want in the region of €42m for the Colombia international, who spent the last two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich.
"After Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, James is the most marketable player in the world," De Laurentiis said. "He wants to come to Napoli, but Real Madrid are asking for too much."
10.35 BST: Man United striker Romelu Lukaku did not train with the squad on Thursday during the team's pre-season tour of Australia, amid reports of the forward's increasing interest in a move away from Old Trafford.
The striker is keen to move to Inter Milan this summer to link up with new head coach Antonio Conte, with the Italian club interested.

10.10 BST: No offers have been made for in-demand Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Il Messaggero.
The 24-year-old is reportedly wanted by Manchester United and PSG, but no formal bids have been made.
9.43 BST: Aston Villa have announced the signing of England under-21 centre-back Ezri Konsa from Brentford.
"Ezri fits the profile of the type of player we were searching for," head coach Dean Smith said in a statement.
Konsa will link up with his new teammates for the first time when they fly out to the United States today in preparation for the new Premier League season.

9.15 BST: West Ham have approached Itialian giants Juventus with a season-long loan offer for Gonzalo Higuain, Sky Italy have reported.
The striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Chelsea and seems to be surplus to the Serie A champions' plans.
West Ham's offer reportedly includes an option to buy, and Juve value the Argentine at around £36m.
The Hammers - who saw Marko Arnautovic depart this week - had been in the market for Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez, but talks seem to have broken down with the La Liga club due to disagreements over payment structures.
08.41 BST: Romelu Lukaku has reiterated his desire to leave Manchester United despite a request from manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to stay and fight for his place, sources have told ESPN FC.
08.15 BST: The Sun is reporting that Arsenal are set to step up their interest in Barcelona winger Malcom. The former AS Monaco star has failed to find top form at the Camp Nou and Arsenal have tabled a bid of £31.5m.
PAPER ROUND: Talks on Lukaku's future imminent
And how will United fund the Maguire move? By making good on the rumoured switch to Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku, which appears to be making headway after the Italian club's sporting director arrived in the U.K. to meet with Red Devils officials, Sky Sports reports.
Piero Ausilio will meet with the club Thursday, and he'll have to show he means business, with Juventus now interested in the Belgian forward as well.

United are reportedly asking for a simple cash deal of £75m, potentially funding their aforementioned signing of Maguire.
Lukaku is currently in preseason training in Australia with the rest of Solskjaer's squad, but it's thought that he wants the negotiations to be completed pronto.
Diego Costa to Everton?
Diego Costa could be set to make a return to the Premier League, but it would be no homecoming, as The Sun reports that the Atletico Madrid forward has his sights set on Everton.
The 30-year-old left England two years ago after falling out with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, returning to the club the Blues had originally bought him from.
Costa's form in La Liga has been patchy at best, scoring only three goals in 20 games last season. Add to that the signings of Joao Felix and Alvaro Morata and it's not hard to see why the Spaniard might be looking elsewhere.
The Toffees are hopeful of having a summer clearout, with Yannick Bolasie, Cenk Tosun, Mo Besic, Oumar Niasse and Kevin Mirallas all thought to be surplus to requirements.

- Laurent Koscielny's time at Arsenal could be approaching its conclusion, with Bordeaux interested in bringing the Frenchman to Ligue 1, The Mirror reports. Lyon and Rennes are also keeping tabs on the centre-back, but Bordeaux are believed to have offered him a three-year deal.
- As for potential incomings at Emirates Stadium, The Mirror also says that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is edging closer to joining Unai Emery's side. The Gunners saw a £40m offer rejected, with Palace asking for at least double.
