TOP STORY: Pochettino to be handed war chest
Despite heartbreak in the Champions League final, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is set to be backed heavily in the transfer market this summer, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The Spurs boss highlighted the financial muscle of his top-four rivals in the aftermath of their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, and his club have already started to make moves for a number of summer targets.
Spurs have had offers turned down for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele of Lyon, while Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon remains a long-term target.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has faced criticism from fans in the past 18 months for a lack of signings at the club, but he is now ready to show Pochettino that he can match his manager's ambitions with substantial transfer funds.

22.51 BST: We'll bring Monday's live edition of Transfer Talk to a close with some news out of Germany. After Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness recommended Jerome Boateng leave the club, the Mirror cites Bild as reporting that the Bundesliga champions have set the asking price for the 30-year-old centre-back at £20m, with Manchester United and Arsenal reportedly set to start a bidding war.
22.04 BST: After having an £18m bid rejected for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, West Ham have returned with a £20m bid, according to the Guardian, which still falls short of the Catalans' £25m valuation. The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Everton, who reportedly are interested in making his stay on Merseyside permanent, and Totttenham have also been credited with interest.
21.17 BST: The Independent reports that Manchester United have moved into pole position to sign Leicester City's 22-year-old playmaker James Maddison, who could cost the Red Devils as much as £60m.
20.30 BST: Grab your nearest salt shaker and get yourself a handful, because we have a report on a report on a report regarding the future of James Rodriguez. This update comes from the Mail, who has cited Marca, who has cited Kicker, as reporting that Bayern Munich will not make James' two-year loan at the Allianz Arena permanent, and that the breakout star of the 2014 World Cup "is probably heading to Napoli" to be reunited with Carlo Ancelotti, who he played under at Real Madrid and Bayern.

18.56 BST: More news concerning Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain! Catalan outlet Sport reports that Philippe Coutinho would prefer to join PSG over Chelsea and Manchester United, stating that he's hesitant to take a pay cut from his €12m-a-year wages to move to Stamford Bridge and that he's fearful of a move to Old Trafford tarnishing his five-year stint at Liverpool, leaving the Ligue 1 outfit as the Brazilian's preferred destination once he walks out of the Camp Nou.
18.09 BST: French outlet RMC Sport is reporting that Lionel Messi has requested the Barcelona board prioritise re-signing Neymar this summer, and the Catalan club have made contact with Paris Saint-Germain to gauge the possibility of a transfer. However, the French champions have firmly stated that the 27-year-old Brazilian is not for sale.
17.22 BST: Arsenal defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has announced he is leaving the club after just one season at the Emirates with a message on Instagram.
16.48 BST: Shakhtar Donetsk manager Paulo Fonseca, who is among the favourites to replace Claudio Ranieri at Roma has opened the door to leaving the Ukrainian side.
"In football, there are no certainties -- anything can happen," Fonseca told Pro Football. "The only certainty is that I won't be going to Dynamo Kiev, or my wife would be angry."
16.19 BST: Mainz 05 have signed Edimilson Fernandes from West Ham.
The 23-year-old Switzerland international spent last season on loan with Fiorentina and has now joined the Bundesliga club on a four-year contract.

15.48 BST: Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has advised compatriot Matthijs de Ligt to join rivals Manchester City.
Asked if he agreed with Peter Bosz'c comments that De Ligt should join City, Van Gaal told Fox Sports: "I think exactly the same -- although De Ligt can go to Barcelona too, because their central defenders are not too good either.
"He could play at Barcelona, but he could play for Manchester City also, and in that case I would choose Pep Guardiola over Lionel Messi."
15.22 BST: Bayern Munich are downbeat about their chances of signing Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
"Those sums -- it's madness," club president Uli Hoeness, told kicker: "It's rather unlikely it will work out."
Sane, 23, has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern and last week, UK media reported City rejected the Bundesliga champions' first €80 million bid.
14.53 BST: Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain's Thomas Meunier this summer, sources have told ESPN FC.
PSG are open to the sale and would demand around €30 million for a player who is entering the final 12 months of his contract amid a strained relationship with the club's fans and a lack of playing time.
Sources have told ESPN FC that the two Premier League sides have already registered their interest. Arsenal boss Unai Emery, who signed Meunier for PSG, is behind the Gunners' interest, while United view the Belgium international as a more affordable alternative to Crystal Palace's £50m-rated Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
14.21 BST: Any deal to bring Neymar back to Barcelona is dependent on three players leaving Camp Nou, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Firstly, Philippe Coutinho, is keen to go. Then, Ousmane Dembele -- who Thomas Tuchel is a fan of, the report claims -- and Ivan Rakitic, who recently rejected the chance to move.
All three could be offered to PSG as fare of a deal for Neymar.
13.49 BST: Fiorentina have issued a statement which claims Inter Milan target Federico Chiesa will not be leaving the club this summer.
"We regularly read reports from others on Chiesa's future and where he will play next season. Federico is tied to the club with a long contract and, therefore, Chiesa will play for Fiorentina next season and will be the flagbearer around whom we will build our squad," a club statement read.
Fiorentina are on the brink of being sold with New York Cosmos owner Rocco B. Commisso to buy the club.
13.22 BST: Watford head coach Javi Gracia is under consideration to replace Maurizio Sarri as Chelsea manager if the Italian leaves Stamford Bridge to take over at Juventus, sources have told ESPN FC.
Despite guiding the club to Europa League glory against Arsenal in Baku last week, Sarri's future at Chelsea remains uncertain following a turbulent first campaign in charge.
12.51 BST: Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi, who had been linked with the Juventus job, has extended his contract with the Biancocelesti, the club's president has confirmed.
"We have renewed Inzaghi's contract, and extension that was appropriate despite the things said in the media," Claudio Lotito told Radio Uno. "I never intended a different outcome.
"Now we start over together to reach the objectives we've set in these three years and never attained. We are just missing the formal aspects but it's all done. I was never worried, I know Inzaghi and we are a great family."
12.17 BST: Spanish daily AS report Mohamed Salah is looking to leave Liverpool following a heated discussion with Jurgen Klopp.
The same paper first printed the story in April, and have now followed it up by claiming he is expected to become the biggest name on the market this summer.
11.41 BST: Serie A champions Juventus could strengthen this summer by signing the division's Defender of Year Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Tuttosport.
Maurizio Sarri, who is expected to replace Massimiliano Allegri as Juve boss, managed Koulibaly at Napoli and helped the Senegal international's development.
11.06 BST: Any deal for Romelu Lukaku to join Inter Milan is dependent on the Italian club meeting FFP parameters, according to The Sun.
New Inter boss Antonio Conte is keen to bring the Belgium international to San Siro, with Manchester United willing to sell a £80 million.
But The Sun claim Inter need to raise £40m by June 30 in order to comply with FFP regulations bfore they can think about summer transfer business.
10.42 BST: In-demand Matthijs de Ligt is determined not to make an hasty decisions despite interest from Barcelona, Manchester United and several other top European clubs.
"I am very excited about what could happen in the near future," he told RTL4. "I am also trying to stay calm, though.
"I view this as a challenge -- that is the most important thing. There are several options and I really want to pick the best one. Logically, one option is better than another.
"Life abroad could be difficult, but I am still an ordinary Dutch guy -- I am no different to the others. Perhaps living abroad will be more intense for me."
10.08 BST: Manchester City Women have completed a deal for Liverpool's Laura Coombs.
Coombs, 28, who started her career with Arsenal, has signed a two-year deal with the FA Cup holders.
09.33 BST: Juventus could announce Maurizio Sarri as Massimiliano Allegri's replacement today, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The report adds that Sarri would bring defender Emerson Palmieri with him to the Allianz Stadium.

Napoli target Real Madrid trio
Napoli are preparing for a busy summer in the transfer market, and Calciomercato claims that the Serie A runners-up have contacted Real Madrid regarding three of Zinedine Zidane's fringe players.
Zidane is keen to offload a number of squad members to fund a summer revamp of his own, and Napoli are believed to be interested in Dani Ceballos, Theo Hernandez and Marcos Llorente -- with all three being told by their manager that they don't have a future at the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos and the Italians enjoy a strong relationship, with three Real Madrid players making the move to the Stadio San Paolo in the past few years. Raul Albiol, Gonzalo Higuain and Jose Callejon have all made the switch from La Liga to Serie A since 2013.
A move for Ceballos is believed to be the most complicated of the three, with a host of other clubs in the running for the former Real Betis midfielder.
Trippier set to join Sarri at Juventus
The Daily Mirror reports that Juventus are ready to rekindle their interest in Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier.
ESPN FC sources have confirmed that Juve are set to name Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri as their new manager in a matter of days, and the Serie A champions are believed to be keen on adding the England international too.
After discussions with the Chelsea hierarchy, Sarri has made it clear that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge after just a year in charge, despite Europa League success and a third-place dfinish in the Premier League.
Juventus have been long-term admirers of Sarri following his successful spell as Napoli boss, and they are confident about tying their No. 1 target to a £19 million, three-year contract.
News of the Bianconeri's interest in Spurs full-back Trippier comes after Napoli appeared to cool their interest in the former Burnley man, but Juve are monitoring him as a potential replacement for Portugal international Joao Cancelo, who has endured a difficult first season in Turin.
