Antoine Griezmann enlists Pogba and Dembele in 24-hour charity gaming marathon

Take a bow, Antoine Griezmann, who has been playing video games nonstop to raise funds for the Red Cross.

Kicking off at 3 p.m. BST on Friday, the Barcelona forward embarked upon a 24-hour gaming marathon that featured a number of guest stars.

Griezmann roped in a couple of his famous footballing friends to help out, with Paul Pogba and Ousmane Dembele lending their assistance.

Broadcasting live via his Grizi Esport Twitch channel, Griezmann first welcomed Pogba for a round or two of Call of Duty: Warzone, before Dembele (who has been in trouble with the Barca hierarchy in the past due to his excessive gaming habits) joined the stream to play Football Manager.

The 29-year-old also tried his hand at games such as Valorant, Fortnite and League of Legends, while mingling, chatting and playing against several prominent pro gamers.

After finishing his marathon, at 3 p.m. BST on Saturday, Griezmann tweeted: "A huge thank you to everyone for participating in the #GRIZI24H. Thank you to the guests for your good humour, Thank you for your presence and your many donations. Thanks to @GriziEsport. Finally, THANKS to @CroixRouge for your actions on the ground to protect the most vulnerable."

At the end of the marathon, Grizi Esport announced that Griezmann's effort's had earned the Red Cross €29,200 ($32,000).

The tweet read: "One thing to say: THANK YOU! Thanks to your generosity we have exceeded our goal. €29,200 has been raised for the @CroixRouge. Once again, a big thank you to all of you for your strength. #IceInOurVeins"
