Captain Matt Davies is confident that Pahang will triumph against Negeri Sembilan in the Malaysia FA Cup semifinals, with Saturday's second leg away from home being described as their biggest game of the season.
Pahang arrived in Seremban on Friday armed with a one-goal advantage against the Premier League high fliers. They won the first leg 1-0 in Kuantan on April 30, thanks to late own goal from Annas Rahmat.
"We have been in training camp last few days, and we are pretty focused," Matthew told ESPN FC.
"We have the benefit from the first leg. We are more aware of their style and what they like to do."
Pahang will need to pull out all the stops to hold on to their slim lead at the Paroi Stadium, which has become a fortress for the unbeaten Premier League leaders.
The Australian-born full-back is aware of the task ahead against a team who have dumped out Malaysia Super League sides Selangor and Penang on their way to the last four.
"They like to put balls behind or over the top of defensive lines. I'm confident we can nullify their better players like we did in the first leg," he said.
Davies was especially cautious of the threat Japan's Bruno Suzuki and Englisman Lee Tuck, who have scored 12 goals between them this season.
But with their own top marksman in Matheus Alves, Pahang are capable of goals of their own if their forward line gets the right service.

"We are surely looking for goals on Saturday night, especially when we have players like him [Alves], [Mohamadou] Sumareh and Wan Zaharulnizam Zakaria."
Victory in Paroi would take Pahang to their first major final since 2014, with Negeri looking to take one big step towards their first silverware since winning the 2011 Malaysia Cup.
Meanwhile, Kedah will face Terengganu with a similar advantage after Farhan Roslan's goal separated the sides at the Darul Aman Stadium.
The Canaries will have the advantage of their key defender Rizal Ghazali returning from suspension.
Kosovar playmaker Liridon Krasniqi and Australian centre-back Zachary Anderson should also be available after sitting out the midweek 4-4 draw against PKNS FC.
Kedah striker Ken Ilso, meanwhile, was fired up to add to his three goal tally in the competition.

Ilso, the former Bundesliga and S.League forward, has been one of Kedah's success stories this season, having scored nine goals in 15 matches.
