Arsenal beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League for the first time in 14 years on Sunday night with a deserved 1-0 victory.
After controlling much of the game, Arteta's men finally got the goal they'd been searching for in the form of a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang spot kick.

Positives
There was real spatial awareness in Arsenal's play and they were happy to both sit in possession and make things really claustrophobic for United whenever the hosts had the ball. They were comfortable in playing it out from the back and just about every move into the final third had a measured approach to it. This methodical style will only benefit them moving forward.
Negatives
The biggest red flag for the Gunners will be their inability to kill the game off, with there being a real sense of trepidation in their finishing. That could be put down to their poor record at Old Trafford getting into their heads but either way, they did regress slightly in the second half, and if it hadn't been for the penalty, that level of panic could've really cost them.

8 -- Mikel Arteta clearly told his side to approach this game with no fear, and that composure was clear to see throughout the whole 90 minutes. His starting XI was somewhat experimental as he continues to try and find the right balance in his squad. Given the fact it took him 75 minutes to make a change, it's safe to say he's onto something in North London.

GK Bernd Leno, 7 -- It was a quiet day at the office for Leno with arguably his biggest moment being a nice low save in the 21st minute to keep the scoreline at 0-0.
DF Rob Holding, 8 -- Physicality was the name of the game for Holding and while it did earn him a yellow card, he controlled Marcus Rashford all afternoon.
DF Gabriel, 7 -- There's a no-nonsense approach to Gabriel's defending and even though that may not be the prettiest style in the world, he gets the job done for Arsenal.
DF Kieran Tierney, 7 -- Commanded the left side well and got across impeccably when called upon. That said, his distribution and link-up play need some work.
DF Hector Bellerin, 6 -- The Spaniard is at his best when he's whipping crosses into the area because outside of that, his passing and timing handed United the ball on several occasions.
MF Mohamed Elneny, 7 -- His ability to drive Arsenal forward was a constant source of success for the visitors as he never seemed to stop giving 110%.
MF Thomas Partey, 8 -- Made everything he did look so easy. From his vision to how calm he was in the middle of the park, he was excellent, and even showcased his shooting threat with a powerful 58th-minute effort.
MF Willian, 6 -- The Brazilian played a nice pass into Bellerin that won Arsenal the penalty in what was his only real contribution of note in the game.
MF Bukayo Saka, 7 -- Was a constant nuisance for the opposition to deal with courtesy of his pressure. It is impressive how easily he can read the game -- although he should've done better with a 44th-minute header.
FW Alexandre Lacazette, 7 -- Struggled with the system early on after being marked out of the game for large spells, but when he sat deep, he dispossessed United better than anyone else.
FW Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 7 -- The popular striker made up for a bad miss in the 52nd minute by slotting home the winning penalty.
Substitutes
DF Shkodran Mustafi, N/R -- Threw himself into challenges and made a few clearances to help see out the win.
DF Ainsley Maitland-Niles, N/R -- Helped Arsenal to survive United's late surge by providing his side with another defensive body.
