That's it from us here. We'll look forward to your company tomorrow! Thanks for following our coverage tonight and for all your comments! It's goodnight from me, Rvel Zahid, and Harshith Gowda.
Fakhar Zaman, Player of the Match: When you play after a hiatus and there's tough competition, it takes time, don't feel like I played with full flow. I had time today and Abdullah made it easier for me. It feels good (that teams banks on me) our strength has always been bowling and when we posted 200-plus, we felt we will win this. If you have wickets in hand and have power-hitters down the order, it becomes easy. Whichever opener scores - for any team -, it makes it easier for the batting unit so I won't take any credit...I think their spinners are one of the best and whatever they planned (bowl outside off-stump) I knew and played accordingly...played over the off-side
Lahore weren't made to sweat today. The batters set it up with an imposing total of 220 and the bowlers responded splendidly by striking early. Shaheen started the rot, Asif made an immediate impact and then Rishad, alongside Raza, wreaked havoc with their guile and control. Rishad impressed with his prowess and got wickets at regular intervals. It's difficult to score against this potent spin attack. Rilee Rossouw kept them in the hunt for a while, timing the ball sweetly before being cleaned up by Rishad on 44. That's when things really started to go downhill and there was no resistance from that point on. Everything clicked for Lahore today and they climb to the top of the table as a result of this resounding win
