Spurs demand huge Eriksen fee
Christian Eriksen is not a player Tottenham Hotspur want to lose, and the Mirror reports that they have slapped a £130 million price tag on him.
Real Madrid, who snapped up both Luka Modric and Gareth Bale from the North London side in recent years, have been linked with Eriksen -- but a £130m would make him the third most expensive signing in the world behind Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The figure looks even more incredible when you bear in mind that Spurs signed Eriksen for £13m from Ajax in 2013.

23.00 GMT: Arsenal have "agree to a deal" with Brazilian wonder boy Gabriel Martinelli.
Yahoo Esportes claims Arsenal have a verbal agreement with the 17-year-old Ituano striker. Martinelli, who once had a trial at Man United, has 10 goals in 31 games for four-tier Ituano and is reportedly working on gaining an Italian passport which would allow him to move to Europe before turning 18.
Arsenal were set to offer £5 million for the prodigy but it is understood Ituano want somewhere in the neighborhood of £8m.
22.25 GMT: It is no secret that Philippe Coutinho's time at Barcelona has been a disappointment thus far and that Barca seem open to moving on from the Brazilian. Could Chelsea take a shot on the former Liverpool star?
Express Sport understands that the Blues have indeed joined the race for the dynamic 26-year-old attacker. Man United have been the club most often linked with the player, who has struggled since moving to the Camp Nou for £142 million.
Coutinho himself has hinted it might be time to hit the reset button.
"I am thinking about leaving Barcelona, I know that it is a difficult decision, but it can be the best thing for my career," Sport say Coutinho told some of his Brazil teammates during the international break.
With Eden Hazard's future at Stamford Bridge in doubt, Coutinho would be a pretty nice replacement for the Blues.
21.48 GMT: With rumours both Man City and Man United are circling for Declan Rice, the recent England debutant has spoken out.
The 20-year-old West Ham midfielder has downplayed rumours he will be moving in the summer, saying he is quite happy at the London club.
"I'm happy. I'm playing week in week out. I have a special connection with the fans. It's unbelievable," Rice told BT Sport. "I love every minute of being at West Ham.
"Being compared to players, being linked to other teams, I don't really take any of it in to be honest," he said. "If you think about it too much you get caught up in it. I'm only 20, you've got your whole career ahead of you. I'm just focused on playing for West Ham and playing with a smile on my face and enjoying it."
Sounds like Rice may stick around the London Stadium for a while longer.
21.03 BST: Is Alfredo Morelos running out of friends at Ibrox?
The Colombian striker has 29 goals this term for Rangers but was sent off for the third time this season after elbowing Celtic's Scott Brown in the Old Firm derby on Sunday.
Morelos, 22 was linked with a move to Spain in the winter window and Steven Gerrard's most recent comments seem to indicate that patience is wearing thin regarding the striker.
"He let the club and his team-mates down again, I can't defend him any more," said Gerrard following Rangers' 2-1 defeat.
Morelos is a top talent as his goal tally shows but his disciplinary record make him a real buyer beware proposition.
20.29 BST: Premier League hopefuls Leeds reportedly have their eyes on an international midfielder.
The Daily Star writes that Marcelo Bielsa and Co. are monitoring Norway international Stefan Johansen, who is currently on loan at West Brom from Fulham.
Th 28-year-old was linked with Leeds in January and with his contract at Fulham set to expire, the Norway captain could be set for another move within England.
19.53 BST: Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez is relaxed about the future of Ayoze Perez, despite the striker telling El Chiringuito that a move to La Liga "would be something great for my career." Benitez said: "When we talk about the future, we talk about doing things here. He's not telling me he wants to go -- he's focused here."
18.49 BST: In-form Aston Villa are targeting Swansea defender Mike van der Hoorn, and the Birmingham Mail reports that their hopes have been raised by the news that his talks over a contract extension with the Swans "have stalled."
17.32 BST: Newcastle winger Matt Ritchie is one of the players who could be on his way in a summer squad revamp, according to reports.
16.24 BST: Arsenal manager Unai Emery has said the club will talk to Danny Welbeck about a new contract as the former Manchester United striker continues his recovery from a broken ankle. "It's difficult for him to play matches this season, but he is progressing very well," he said. "After that, his individual thing is to speak with the club."
14.33 BST: Lyon's Nabil Fekir, whose proposed move to Liverpool fell through last summer, has told Telefoot that what happened "makes you stronger and you have to move forward," indicating that he has not yet decided whether to renew his contract with the Ligue 1 club in the summer.
13.18 BST: Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is interested in signing Birmingham forward Greg Stewart, currently on loan at Aberdeen, according to the Birmingham Mail. Stewart can join on a free when his contract runs out in the summer.
12.49 BST: Reports suggest that Barcelona could target the free transfer signing of Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata when his contract expires at at the end of the season. Mata has yet to agree terms for an extension of the deal, and is free to talk to overseas clubs.
11.58 BST: The Sunday Mirror reports that, amid interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, Inter Milan will double the wages of defender Milan Skriniar in an effort to stop him leaving for the Premier League.
11.00 BST: Sources told ESPN FC earlier this week that Manchester United are planning to focus on emerging youngsters and players in their mid-20s in future windows, with moves for older stars such as Alexis Sanchez and Nemanja Matic only considered in exceptional circumstances.
The Mail on Sunday adds that Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is on United's list of targets alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi and Jadon Sancho.
10.16 BST: Leicester defender Ben Chilwell has developed into one of England's top players in his position, and his form has not gone unnoticed in Europe.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are interested in the 22-year-old and will rival Manchester City for his signature in the summer, according to The Sun, which also reports that Arsenal are interested -- although they are outsiders given the guaranteed Champions League football on offer with Chilwell's other suitors.
09.10 BST: On Saturday, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane told a news conference he likes Paul Pogba "a lot" and suggested the midfielder could move to the Bernabeu when he leaves Manchester United.
And the Manchester Evening News reckons Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has already held talks with Madrid about a transfer.
"I like him a lot -- that is nothing new," Zidane said. "I know him personally. He is a truly different player -- few players can do what he can. He is a midfielder who can defend, attack, do everything.
"But he is not my player, he is at Manchester. He has always said that, after Manchester, Madrid has always interested him. So when his experience at Manchester ends, why not come here to Madrid?"
PAPER TALK: De Gea will leave United if they don't meet wage demands
David De Gea will join Paris Saint-Germain on a £350,000-a-week contract in the summer unless Manchester United can match that offer, the Sun reports.
With only one year left on his contract at Old Trafford, De Gea could leave on a free at the end of next season, but PSG are willing to test United's resolve with a £60m bid.
However, it's expected that De Gea, like Paul Pogba, will be willing to stay at United thanks to the permanent appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.
But with PSG searching for a long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon, this transfer rumour could run and run.
Former Red backs Liverpool to sign Bale
Ex-Liverpool defender Dominic Matteo has said the club should look to make a marquee signing by buying Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, the Express reports.
Wales international Bale has been at Madrid for six years but has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.
Matteo said: "With Bale, when Madrid beat Liverpool in the [Champions League] final, he had that bit of X-factor. It would be a big signing. If he was coming back to England, I'm sure that everyone would take him. We certainly wouldn't say no."
De Ligt drops Juventus hint
Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt has said he could join Juventus despite interest from Liverpool and Arsenal, according to talkSPORT.
The Netherlands international waxed lyrical about the Juventus defence, saying: "I really like [Giorgio] Chiellini, he is very strong, one of the best ever defenders.
"I also appreciate [Leonardo] Bonucci -- they are two of the best centre-backs in Europe. For a young man like me, they are both two models to be inspired by.
"Me at Juve? It could be, but there are also other interested clubs. We'll see at the right time."
