Cristiano Ronaldo has owned the Champions League so much that he wants the competition to name itself after him.
After Real Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1 on Saturday, Ronaldo lifted the European Cup for the fifth time in his career -- the first player to do so in the Champions League era.
And though he didn't find the net against Liverpool, Ronaldo finished as the top scorer this season with 15 goals. It's the sixth straight season he's finished with at least a share of the lead -- a fact that he said should deserve even greater recognition.
"Who was top scorer again?" he asked reporters. "The Champions League should change its name and call itself the CR7 Champions League... I've won five, top scorer again, I can't be unhappy at that."
Ronaldo already has an airport, hotel chain and underwear line named after him, so how about it, UEFA?
