Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches keen for minutes under Niko Kovac

Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches has said he would like more game time at the Bundesliga club.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Premier League side Swansea but has only made five appearances for the German side this campaign -- completing 90 minutes just once.

"The relationship to the coach is very good," Sanches told Bild. "Sure, I'd like to play more.

"We have many internationals in our ranks and the coach must rotate. But I would like to have more minutes."

Sanches, who was voted Young Player of the Tournament as he won Euro 2016 with Portugal, joined Bayern from €35 million for Benfica and despite going on to win the Golden Boy award that year, struggled to nail down a starting place in his first season before being loaned out.

Bayern started the campaign as overwhelming favourites to win a seventh-straight Bundesliga title, but are on a run of four matches across all competitions without a win -- crashing to a 3-0 home defeat against Borussia Monchengladbach in their last outing.

The run of form has led to reports of rifts within the dressing room and while Sanches admitted there have been talks, the players are not overly concerned.

"It's clear that we always feel pressure," he said. "We must always give it our all and represent Germany's best club. Thus, it's normal there are discussions. That's part of the business and not a problem at all."
