The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily.

Glossary

  • W-L-T:Won Games
  • PROJ W-L:Projected overall W-L, accounting for results to date and FPI-based projections for remaining scheduled games (and potential conference championship games). May not sum to a whole number because of differing number of games played in each simulation.
  • PLAYOFF%:Chance to make the NFL playoffs, according to FPI.
  • WIN DIV%:Chance to win the conference division, according to FPI.
  • MAKE DIV%:Chance to make the division playoffs, according to FPI.
  • MAKE CONF%:Chance to make the conference championship game, according to FPI.
  • MAKE SB%:Chance to make the Super Bowl, according to FPI.
  • WIN SB%:Chance to win the Super Bowl, according to FPI.
