United States trio Christian Pulisic, Clint Dempsey, and Jozy Altidore have been nominated for the 2017 CONCACAF Player of the Year Award.

Pulisic, who recently said he is still "learning a lot" at Borussia Dortmund, is joined in the nominations by Javier Hernandez -- who joined West Ham in the summer, Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Sporting winger Bryan Ruiz.

Philadelphia Union goalkeeper and Jamaica's 2017 Gold Cup hero Andre Blake is also up for the award along with Mexican trio Franco Jara, Hector Moreno and Hirving Lozano -- the latter two at Roma and PSV Eindhoven respectively.

Meanwhile, U.S. veteran and Colorado Rapids captain Tim Howard is nominated for the CONCACAF Goalkeeper of the Year award and is up against Eloy Room, Alfonso Blanco, Nahuel Guzman, Guillermo Ochoa as well as Navas and Blake, who are nominated in both categories.

Atlanta United boss Gerardo Martino and Toronto FC manager Greg Vanney are up for the CONCACAF Coach of the Year and will battle Panama's Hernan Dario Gomez -- who has led the country to their first-ever World Cup -- while Juan Carlos Osorio, Diego Alonso, Jorge Luis Pinto, Oscar Ramirez, Ricardo Ferretti, Sergio Guzmán and Theodore Whitmore are also nominated.

Several Major League Soccer players are nominated for the CONCACAF Best XI award including Seattle Sounders trio Dempsey, Joevin Jones and Roman Torres and Portland Timbers' David Guzman and Diego Valeri.

Toronto pair Altidore and Michael Bradley are on the list, as are New York City FC's David Villa, Chicago Fire's Nemanja Nikolic, Houston Dynamo's Alberth Elis and New York Red Bulls defender Kemar Lawrence.

Voting for the awards will be split between the media, member associations' national team head coaches and captains' votes and a fans' vote. Voting is open until 11:59pm ET on Dec. 13.
