The United States qualified for the Under-20 World Cup while booking passage to the final of the CONCACAF Championship with a 2-1 defeat of nine-man El Salvador on Friday.
Emmanuel Sabbi and Eryk Williamson -- with a tremendous long-range blast -- provided the goals for the U.S., which has never won the regional tournament.

Marvin Marquez collected the consolation strike for El Salvador.
Kevin Reyes Ortiz was sent off in the 80th minute for the Central Americans. And Josue Santos Olivares and the U.S.'s Sebastian Saucedo were each shown reds for an ugly clash in the 90th minute as tempers flared.
The result also ensured Mexico's qualification for this summer's World Cup in South Korea. Costa Rica managed a 1-1 draw against Panama later on Friday to join Honduras in qualifying from the other group.
The U.S. will next play Honduras in the CONCACAF final on Sunday.
