Cameron Carter-Vickers has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur, keeping him at the club until 2019.
U.S. youth international Carter-Vickers, 18, is the latest Tottenham player to commit his future to the club, following Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Tom Carroll in agreeing a contract extension.
Carter-Vickers has been rewarded with a new deal by Tottenham after making his debut in the 5-0 EFL Cup win over Gillingham earlier this month, while he has also often been on the bench ahead of Austria international Kevin Wimmer for the club's Premier Leauge matches this season.

Spurs boss Pochettino, who prefers to keep talented youth players around the senior squad rather than sending them on loan, said earlier this month that Carter-Vickers "will be one of the best centre-backs in England in the future."
"Obviously the new deal shows that the manager has faith in me," Carter-Vickers told the club website. "I've been here since I was 10, 11, just working hard and trying to get to this stage now. Obviously I want to push on more but it means a lot. It's taking your game up another level and and getting that little bit better."
The Southend-born defender -- who is the son of former NBA player Howard "Hi-C" Carter and an English mother -- has represented the U.S. under-23s and played in the Under-20 World Cup when he was just 17.
Carter-Vickers said he has learned a lot from watching Spurs' Belgian duo of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
"In my opinion, we have two of the best centre-backs in the league here, so I train with them every day and watch them play," he said. "I can only learn from them and it can only make me better."
A source has told ESPN FC that Vertonghen has also agreed a new Spurs deal, while the club are in talks with Erik Lamela and Anton Walkes.
