      Accrington crowned champions after beating Lincoln

      Stanley sealed the League Two title with a 1-0 win over play-off contenders Lincoln in front of the biggest crowd ever at the Wham Stadium of 4753.Jordan Clark scrambled home the winner in the 35th minute - his ninth goal of the campaign - as Stanley maintained their six-point gap over second placed Luton with one game left.The Reds even missed a penalty with the usually reliable Billy Kee who, with 26 goals is the League Two's top scorer, seeing his spot kick saved.It was a lively game despite limited goalmouth action in the opening half an hour.The Reds then enjoyed a spell of pressure and they made one count with a Sean McConville cross being scrambled home by Clark for the opener.Stanley should have made it two when they were awarded a penalty on 45 minutes. Seamus Conneely was fouled in the area by Michael Bostwick but Allsop dived the right way to deny Kee.Lincoln came out fighting in the second half but Stanley always looked a threat, Kayden Jackson forcing another fine save out of Allsop.A Luke Waterfall diving header was wide for the Imps, Matt Green saw a goalbound effort deflected over while Clark cleared a ball off the line as Lincoln couldn't find the equaliser.Stanley haven't yet been beaten at the Wham Stadium in 2018 in 12 games with 11 wins in that tally.

        Accrington's title party on hold as Newport win

        Newport stalled Accrington's title-winning celebrations with a 2-1 win at Rodney Parade.Stanley have already been promoted but goals from Padraig Amond and Frank Nouble were enough to give the Exiles victory.Billy Kee grabbed a late consolation goal for the visitors but it was not enough.Newport came close to opening the scoring when Amond was found unmarked in the penalty box only to head straight into the arms of goalkeeper Aaron Chapman.But Amond did put the Exiles into the lead with a powerful shot which found the bottom-left corner.Stanley threatened an equaliser before the break, with Sean McConville forcing Joe Day into a save.Mark Hughes thought he had equalised when his shot hit a post before Newport scrambled the ball away.Nouble looked to have secured the win when his low shot from the edge of the area beat Chapman.Kee got one back for Stanley in the dying moments but Newport managed to cling on to the points.

          Accrington edge closer to title with convincing win at Wycombe

          Already-promoted Accrington Stanley showed their class at Wycombe Wanderers, as Scott Brown's wonderful strike inspired them to an impressive 4-0 victory.Four days after clinching promotion to League One for the first time in their history, Stanley had too much for the Chairboys, who just about cling on to an automatic promotion place despite a dispiriting defeat. Accrington were handed the lead after 15 minutes when Wycombe goalkeeper Scott Brown was beaten to a long ball by Kayden Jackson, who walked the ball into the empty net.There was nothing fortunate about the visitors' second, though, as Stanley's version of Scott Brown beat his namesake with a brilliant half-volley from just outside the box.Accrington made the result safe in the second half when some good build-up play by Billy Kee and Jackson led to Sean McConville steering the ball into the bottom corner.There was just enough time for Stanley to add a fourth in stoppage time thanks to Offrande Zanzala's penalty, after the substitute was hauled down in the box by Nathan McGinley.
