Tigres goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman has apologised to Monterrey counterpart Esteban Andrada for the laser incident during Sunday's Liga MX game between the sides. The Mexican federation's disciplinary committee announced on Monday night that they are starting an investigation of the incident after receiving a complaint from Monterrey "The investigation process began once the formal request was made by CF Monterrey. This investigation will focus on inappropriate conduct that affected CF Monterrey players," the FMF said in a statement.
