Adelaide United attacker Al Hassan Toure is unfazed by the attention and is purely focused on continuing his breakout A-League season, Reds captain Michael Jakobsen says. Toure will be named in Australia's under 23 squad to depart for a friendly tournament in China next week. The 19-year-old has been weighing up an international future with Australia or Liberia, where his parents were born. Toure's decision, and his stunning feats in his debut season with Adelaide, have turned the spotlight on the versatile attacker who migrated to Australia with his parents when aged four. But Jakobsen says the attention hasn't gone to the teen's head. "He grounded. So he's not like already thinking 'I'm going overseas' ... his focus is here right now," Jakobsen told reporters on Friday. "He's a hard working kid and he has his way of doing stuff and it's really, really good, to be honest. "Just yesterday he was the last one to get off the training pitch. He always does extras and he has a very good mindset for a young kid." Jakobsen said he hadn't felt a need to chat with Toure about retaining a focus on his next match, Adelaide's home game against Brisbane Roar on Sunday. "You can't really see at training or after matches that there is a big fuss and other stuff hyping him as a player," he said. "The key is the mindset and Toure ... is focused on what to do at training and he listens to what instructions he gets from the coach." Toure has shot to prominence since his debut for the Reds in the FFA Cup's opening round in August. Toure scored five goals in Adelaide's cup campaign and was awarded the Mark Viduka medal for best-afield in the Reds' cup final win. He also scored on his A-League debut last month.
