Manchester City agree deal for Oleksandr Zinchenko - sources

Manchester City have agreed a deal for Ukraine forward Oleksandr Zinchenko, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Zinchenko, 19, played 26 times for FC Ufa in the Russian league last season and has attracted the attention of new Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, as well as German club Borussia Dortmund.

The winger made his debut for the Ukraine in October and was part of Mykhaylo Fomenko's squad for Euro 2016, though he only started one game and made two substitute appearances as they crashed out in the group stages.

He broke Andriy Shevchenko's record by becoming the youngest player to score for his national team in the 4-3 win over Romania in May.

The midfielder came through Shakhtar Donetsk's youth academy, but joined Ufa on a free transfer in February and sources told ESPN FC that he has now agreed to move to Manchester and will ply his trade in the Premier League in 2016-17.
