Tottenham target Vincent Janssen also eyed by Wolfsburg - Klaus Allofs

Wolfsburg have held talks with Tottenham Hotspur target Vincent Janssen, according to the sporting director of the German club.

Janssen, 22, finished as Eredivisie top scorer with 27 goals in 34 games last season, while he has scored three times in five appearances for Netherlands, including in the 2-1 win over England at Wembley in March.

The AZ Alkmaar striker reportedly held talks with Tottenham last week after being watched by Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino in Netherlands' 1-1 draw against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin last month.

But Wolfsburg's Klaus Allofs says Janssen is one of a number of options being considered by the Bundesliga club.

"We've got a few options. We've talked to Janssen. We are not the only club in the market for him," Allofs told German daily kicker.

Meanwhile, Allofs says Wolfsburg will not sell forward Max Kruse "at any price."
