Everton's Romelu Lukaku wants club link-up with brother Jordan

Romelu Lukaku has said he would love to link up with his younger brother Jordan at club level after the two siblings combined for Belgium's goal in their 2-1 defeat against Portugal.

KV Oostende left-back Jordan, 21, delivered the perfect cross for Everton striker Romelu, 22, to head home a consolation goal for the visitors in their friendly in Leiria on Tuesday.

Romelu, who has been linked with a move away from Everton this summer, admitted that it was an emotional moment for the pair.

It was the first time that the two brothers had been on the pitch for Belgium at the same time and Romelu hopes that they can do it more regularly in the future.

"The ultimate dream would be to do that in the same club," Romelu told Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure.

"No, I'm not going to call [KV Oostende president] Marc Coucke in order to move to Oostende. It's rather Jordan who's going to join me."

In February, Jordan said he would be looking to move on from the Jupiler Pro League this summer and the Daily Star reported that both Chelsea and Tottenham were watching the full-back.

Jordan has been progressing steadily since leaving Anderlecht for Oostende in 2013 and this season he has helped the club reach the Belgian championship playoffs.

He earned his first cap for Belgium against Andorra in October and said the goal he created after coming on as a second-half substitute against Portugal was down to hard work in training.

"This week I tweeted that I was happy to able to train longer [with Belgium] in order to put in crosses for my brother," he said.

"For the first one that I was able to give [against Portugal], I applied what we worked on during training."
