The coronavirus pandemic has made the transfer market uncertain -- and you can find out when the windows open and close here -- but here are the rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond.
TOP STORY: Inter eye Chelsea's Kante to replace Eriksen
It's not like Inter Milan to sign players from the Premier League... oh wait. Antonio Conte's scouting network seems to extend to looking at players he's coached in the past and now his sights have been set on Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.
The Daily Express reports that Kante has been made available by the Blues as they seek to raise funds in the wake of a £200 million spending spree which has seen them sign Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell, plus Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr on free transfers. And with Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz to come for around £72m.
The 29-year-old Kante can leave for £80m, says the report, with full-back Emerson Palmieri and striker Olivier Giroud also of interest to Inter.
Inter are reportedly set to allow former Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen to leave, despite only signing him in January, according to Mundo Deportivo.

22.51 BST: Carlo Ancelotti looks to have got his man... as James Rodriguez looks to be headed to Goodison Park.
The Colombian, 29, is set to put pen to paper on a three-year deal worth around £4m per year, reports AS. James, who often found himself out of favour with Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, will reunite at Everton with former boss Carlo Ancelotti, who coached him both at Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Everton will reportedly pay a cut-rate £22 million for the former World Cup Golden Boot winner, who Madrid paid £71m for back in 2014. To put a bow on Rodriguez's time at Madrid, the Colombian scored 37 goals and added 42 assists in 125 games spaced out over parts of four seasons. Rodriguez played just 13 times and 725 minutes last season for Los Blancos but enjoyed two solid years on loan at Bayern, tallying 15 goals and 20 assists combined between the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
22.34 BST: Fresh off coming up short in the Champions League final, PSG have opened up talks with Arsenal for right-back Hector Bellerin, according to the Daily Mail.
The French champions are interested in the £30 million-rated Spaniard, who despite having been at Arsenal for since 2012, is still just 25. Selling Bellerin could also be attractive to Arsenal, as the London club currently have Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles as right-back options and may want to raise funds for a midfield signing like Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey or Lyon's Houssem Aouar.
Paris would also seem to suit Bellerin, as not only are PSG genuine UCL contenders but the fashion scene in Paris would also tie in with another of Bellerin's hobbies.
22.02 BST: Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester City?
Our Mark Ogden believes the Napoli centre-back is "ready-made" for Pep Guardiola's side.
21.12 BST: Community Shield winners Arsenal have had a very good summer, having signed young stars Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to new contracts, Willian on a free and Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.
Next up is a new contract for star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but there might be more major Gunners transfer business to come. L'Equipe claims that Arsenal are working on signing Lyon central midfielder Houssem Aouar and that they could swap Matteo Guendouzi plus cash for the France international.
A deal is quickly being sorted betwen Arsenal and Lyon which will see Houssem Aouar head to Arsenal and Matteo Guendouzi go the other way. Lyon were reluctant on the swap but in light of recent news (JRA), it is understood that I just fucking wasted your time. [@lequipe]

The 22-year-old, who is valued at around £50 million, is expected to leave Lyon this window with OL having failed to qualify for European football. A star in this past season's Champions League, the silky Aouar is also being tracked by PSG, Juventus and Man City.
20.36 BST: West Brom need a striker and Sky Sports, via Birmingham Live, reports that the club are talking with Huddersfield Town about Karlan Grant.
The 22-year-old, who netted 19 times last season for the Terriers, was a person of interest in January for West Brom, but nothing came to fruition. Huddersfield are holding out for at least £16 million for Grant, while West Brom need striker reinforcements with loan star Callum Robinson back at parent club Sheffield United and Kenneth Zohore and Oliver Burke both potentially leaving the club this window.
19.58 BST: Celtic have signed Brighton and Republic of Ireland centre-back Shane Duffy on loan, understands The Daily Record.
The 28-year-old completed his medical on Tuesday and remotely filed the necessary paperwork to seal his move to Parkhead. The six-foot-four, no-nonsense centre-back will join up with Celtic following the international break. Duffy has been a rock at the back the past few seasons with Brighton in the Premier League, making 130 appearances and winning the club's Player of the Year award in 2019.
Duffy will be announced later this week and could spell the end of the road at Celtic for one of Kristoffer Ajer or Christopher Julien, who are both in demand at the moment.
19.03 BST: RB Leipzig are still looking for a Timo Werner replacement but they will reportedly need to up their offer to land one of their primary targets.
The Daily Mail writes that RB Leipzig have had a £20 million bid for Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth rejected. The 24-year-old, who has scored just once in 20 games for Palace, is fresh off a breakout season on loan in Turkey with Trabzonspor, in which he scored 33 goals in 49 games.
Leipzig have reportedly made the Norwegian frontman their top target but a deal could be tricky, as loan club Trabzonspor will also have to sign off on any transfer. Sorloth joined Palace in Jan. 2018 for around £9m from FC Midtjylland.
18.15 BST: Minnesota United have finally.... announced the signing of midfielder Emanuel Reynoso from Boca Juniors.

The long, drawn-out transfer saga is finally over, with the Loons announcing the signing of the 24-year-old No.10 on Tuesday. Minny coach Adrian Heath is absolutely chuffed about the signing based on his comments to the club's official website.
"It's been a long, drawn-out process but we're finally glad we've got it over the line. We feel as though we've got one of the best players in the league," said the Loons head coach. "This is a guy we've been following now for maybe a year or so. To finally get him in here is going to be a huge relief for me, a huge relief for [Emanuel] because I know it's something he's wanted. He's had other opportunities elsewhere but he stuck to his principles. He's always wanted to come here, Heath added..
"We're looking forward to welcoming him in to market and I'm looking forward to see what he can do with this group of players because it's another huge piece for us moving forward. A great addition to the squad. I'd like to thank the ownership group, who's obviously gone out on a limb and spent an awful lot of money on this guy so we're just really pleased to get him in."
Minnesota's new Designated Player, who previously spent time in Argentina with Talleres, played 66 times in all for Boca over the last two plus seasons, scoring five goals, adding eight assists and winning two Primera Division titles.
17.32 BST: Chelsea have signed yet another player!
Chelsea F.C. Women have signed Danish attacker Pernille Harder to a three-year contract. The 27-year-old. who arrives from Wolfsburg, is one of Europe's best and most decorated footballers, having won the UEFA Player of the Year award in 2018.

Capable of playing up front or in an attacking midfield role, Harder scored 103 goals in 113 games while with Wolfsburg, winning four Bundesliga titles and finishing as a Champions League runner-up twice. The attacker is also an accomplished player at international level, having scored 61 goals for her native Denmark.
16.45 BST: Liverpool have been linked with a €30m move for Bayern's Thiago but there's a few things to sort out before they can sign him.
16.06 BST: Arsenal have signed defender Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday.
ESPN reported last month that the 22-year-old had agreed a deal that will cost Arsenal around €30m.
Manchester United, Everton and Napoli were all reported to be interested in the Brazil under-20 international, who has helped the French side secure Champions League football for the last two seasons.
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has looked to strengthen his options in the last few months, with Willian joining from Chelsea, William Saliba returning from Saint-Etienne and several players including David Luiz, Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares signing new long-term deals with the club.
16.05 BST: Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr have reportedly offered Arsenal star Mezut Ozil a mouthwatering £15m-per-year contract, according to Turkish outlet Fanatik.
Ozil's deal expires in 2021, but Al-Nassr want to sign the Germany international this summer, though they're prepared to wait a year to sign the attacking midfielder on a free transfer next summer. Ozil appears to have no future under Mikel Arteta, and the Gunners would be interested in offloading one of their highest-paid players.
However, he seems happy enough.
16.02 BST: Brighton defender Ben White has been linked to all the big clubs but he's signed a new four-year contract.
15.33 BST: Chelsea owe defender Antonio Rudiger a debt of gratitude for some transfer help over Germany internationals Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. Maybe he gets a cut of agent fees.
"Everything went well with Timo Werner, so I made my contribution," Rudiger said at a news conference on Tuesday ahead of Germany's Nations League clashes with Spain and Switzerland. "And I hope that it works again now [with Kai Havertz]."
Werner, who signed for £47.7m from RB Leipzig this summer, revealed the extent of the advice he got from 'Agent Toni.'
"There wasn't really a better person I could talk to than him. I asked him what it's like, what the environment is like, what the coach is like," Werner said. "He was positive about it all. It would have been strange for him to say different, though!
"He was full of praise. He said that the city was incredible and that you can only be happy there so it was useful to be able to talk to him, and he really helped me in making my decision."
14.54 BST: RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano reportedly has a €42m release clause which will be activated next summer.
14.23 BST: Sporting Lisbon Jovane Cabral has caught the eye of Jose Mourinho at Tottenham, says Football Insider.
Cabral, 22, is available as Sporting look to cut costs this summer and the Cape Verde winger has impressed Spurs with his play on the flanks. The report suggests that the club have already been in touch to register their interest in him.
13.41 BST: Barcelona have confirmed that Ivan Rakitic has moved to Sevilla for €1.5m. The Croatian midfielder could be worth up to €9m more in performance related add-ons.
The 32-year-old played 310 games for Barcelona since joining them from Sevilla in 2014 and won 13 trophies with the Catalan side. During that time he also scored 35 goals and made 42 assists.
Sources told ESPN on Monday that Rakitic would not attend Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman's first training session after completing a medical with Sevilla. The Croatia international, who has 105 caps, saw his game time noticeably reduced during the 2019-20 season.
13.30 BST: Juventus have signed 16-year-old Samuel Iling-Junior after he left Chelsea.
Iling-Junior has been training with the Italian champions since July and turned down the chance to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
"Full of vast emotions, being at Chelsea from such a young age has truly built me, not only as the player I am today but also as a person," he wrote on social media this weekend. "It's been a blessed journey and I'm deeply thankful for all those in the Academy. From the groundsmen, kitchen staff, players, coaches, the list goes on.
"I would also like to give thanks to the people around me, my family and friends who have consistently supported me. This is just the start. I wish Chelsea all the best for the seasons ahead."
The striker will now join Juve's youth team, alongside former Amiens defender Felix Nzouango Bikien.
13.03 BST: Leicester have agreed a deal worth £22m for Belgium full-back Timothy Castagne from Atalanta, says the Daily Telegraph.
Castagne, 24, will replace Ben Chilwell, who joined Chelsea for £50m last month.

12.40 BST: Manchester City still need another centre-back, despite landing Nathan Ake, but their interest in Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is dragging on.
Corriere dello Sport says that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants €80m, while local Naples newspaper Il Mattino says €90m. Either way, City aren't looking to spend that much and Koulibaly himself is reportedly getting angry about the delays.
What's holding things up?
12.22 BST: Newcastle midfielder Matt Ritchie is part of the club's deal to try and sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, says PA.
Wilson, 28, scored eight Premier League goals in 35 appearances last season as Bournemouth were relegated and has seen interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa. However, Newcastle are willing to offer Ritchie plus cash for the England international.
Steve Bruce's Newcastle side managed just 38 goals last season in total and have a transfer budget of around £35m this summer as a proposed takeover has yet to come to fruition.
11.51 BST: Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has been attracting plenty of interest this summer and now Monaco are in the race, reports the Evening Standard.
Doucoure, 27, is rated at around £20m and has been tracked by Everton, Fulham and Wolves.
11.11 BST: RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano is pretty highly rated.
10.27 BST: Real Madrid and Arsenal are close to agreeing another season-long loan for Dani Ceballos, sources have confirmed to ESPN's Rodrigo Faez and Alex Kirkland.
Ceballos, 24, had made no secret of his desire to re-join Mikel Arteta's team after a successful debut season in north London.
The midfielder has already struck a deal with Arsenal, and the two clubs are expected to complete the move shortly.
The agreement will not include an option to buy, and the finances of the move -- which have proved complicated given Arsenal's situation -- are now being finalised.
10.19 BST: Bayern Munich are in talks with Inter Milan over the signing of winger Ivan Perisic.
Perisic, 31, spent a successful last season on loan at Bayern and now club chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is personally taking care of negotiations to land the Croatian on a permanent deal, according to Bild.
09.50 BST: With his loan deal at RB Leipzig ending on Monday, Manchester City left-back Angelino was set to return to his parent club today. However, City and Leipzig have reached an agreement to hand the 23-year-old a guest player license for a week as talks between the two clubs continue, Bild reports.
Despite selling Timo Werner to Chelsea for €53m this summer, Leipzig are strapped for cash and only have around €20m left to invest into the squad after years of overspending on the transfer market. Since winning promotion to the top flight, they have posted an accumulated transfer deficit of €140m and must be wary of UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.
Barcelona have also been linked with a move for Angelino.
09.27 BST: Augsburg left-back Philipp Max is set to join PSV Eindhoven and their German coach Roger Schmidt, with only the final details of the deal yet to be agreed, kicker reports.
Last term the 26-year-old scored eight and set up a further six goals. He has been one of the most consistent players for Augsburg in recent years and is set to move on for around €10m.
09.06 BST: Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek is set to join Manchester United for around £40m. But how will he fit in?
08.35 BST: ICYMI - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is targeting RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano to bolster his defensive options at Manchester United, sources have told ESPN's Mark Ogden, after sealing a deal to make Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek his first major signing this summer.
Netherlands international Van de Beek is expected to complete a £40m move to Old Trafford this week after agreeing terms with Ajax over the weekend. United have been pursuing the 23-year-old since January.
But with United continuing to make slow progress in their attempts to land priority target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund due to the pay demands of the England winger and his representatives, United manager Solskjaer wants to intensify efforts to boost his squad before the team's Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on Sept 19.
08.20 BST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has extended his contract with AC Milan by a year, the club announced.
The striker's contract expired at the end of last season but he has signed a new deal after impressing with his performances.
08.00 BST: Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joined Serie A side AS Roma on a permanent deal after terminating his contract with Arsenal, the Premier League club said on Monday.
Mkhitaryan joined Roma at the start of last season after a disappointing 18-month spell at Arsenal following a swap deal in January 2018 which saw Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United.
Roma had initially reached an agreement last month to extend Mkhitaryan's loan deal until the end of next season.

Beckham tries to tempt Higuain to Miami
David Beckham has made contact with Juventus about the possibility of taking Gonzalo Higuain to Inter Miami CF, reports Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet believes Beckham himself has sounded out the Argentina international to see if he would be interested in a move to MLS.
And Higuain is believed to be open to finishing his career in the U.S. rather than returning to his homeland, but the deal could falter as a result of the striker's current salary.
Contracted to the Old Lady until 2021, Higuain has a net salary of €7.5m per season, which would be beyond Beckham's budget.
PSG target Inter's Brozovic
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo is interested in signing Marcelo Brozovic from Internazionale, according to Le10 Sport.
The French outlet believes the Ligue 1 champions see the Croatian midfielder as a key part of their rebuild in midfield, though they face competition from Bayern Munich. However, the German giants need to streamline their squad before they can add to it, which is why they're looking to offload Javi Martinez and Thiago Alcantara. This means that Leonardo has the advantage in the race for Brozovic's signature.
PSG were left weakened by the injury of Marco Verratti in the Champions League quarterfinals and while Leonardo's top target, Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, appears to be too expensive, Brozovic could be a more affordable option.
Inter are keen to sell Brozovic, but PSG will need to move fast if they're to avoid a tug of war with Bayern.
AC Milan, Everton chase Emerson deal
Mundo Deportivo is reporting that AC Milan and Everton are attempting to sign Emerson from Barcelona. However, the Catalan club are keen to make way for new players, and so would like to recoup €32m for the full-back's services rather than send him out on loan for a second season, or for a cut-price fee.
Barcelona signed Emerson last summer and loaned him to Real Betis. The Brazilian has attracted admiring glances from all over Europe, but no clubs are yet to lodge a bid that satisfies Barca's officials.
Milan have so far put in an offer of €18m plus a player in return, while Everton wanted to complete a two-year loan deal. It looks as though both clubs will have to do better if they're to land the 21-year-old's services.

- Arsenal are set to re-sign Dani Ceballos on loan for a second successive season from Real Madrid, according to Spanish journalist Jose Luis Sanchez. The two clubs are working to finalise a deal for the 2020-21 season that will include an option for Arsenal to buy the 24-year-old on a permanent deal. Ceballos, who made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, has been persuaded to stay by Arteta, while Madrid are keen to freshen up their own squad by offloading their fringe players.
