Tottenham have completed the signing of defender Juan Foyth from Estudiantes on a five-year deal until 2022.
The Argentina under-20 international will cost around £10 million and is Tottenham's third signing of the summer following deals for centre-half Davinson Sanchez from Ajax and Southampton goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
Foyth, 19, is expected to be followed into Spurs by Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier, with the Ivory Coast international closing in on a move to the Premier League after being granted a work permit.
"I really like this club. I've always followed it since I was a boy," Foyth said. "I really like the league. I'm focused and now I'm going to try to make the most of it. It's a club that believes in young players and I'm very pleased to be here.
"I know the club has a great history and is one of the biggest clubs in England. This is a dream for me. I also know that many young players are in the team at the moment. It's a wonderful project here."

Spurs first targeted Foyth in June and Estudiantes president Juan Sebastian Veron, a former international teammate of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, travelled to London to discuss a deal.
But Spurs' interest cooled after the Argentine club increased the asking price following interest from PSG but Foyth is thought to have always preferred Spurs, and he said last week that a chat with compatriot Pochettino helped persuade him to join the club.
Foyth, who can play centre-half or defensive midfield, has represented Argentina at U20 level 12 times and was a member of their 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup and 2017 Under-20 South American Championship squads.
He recently met with Argentina boss Jorge Sampaoli, who regards him as a future full international.
