Andrew Hjulsager leaves Brondby for Celta Vigo transfer

Danish attacking midfielder Andrew Hjulsager has completed his transfer to Celta Vigo from Brondby after undergoing a medical on Tuesday afternoon.

The Liga club announced that Hjulsager has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year contract with the Galician outfit.

Hjulsager scored seven goals and set up three more in 19 league games to help Brondby climb to second in the Danish Superliga.

Celta were eager to strengthen their attack with winger Fabian Orellana set to leave the Galician club this month after falling out with club coach Eduardo Berizzo earlier this month.

The Chile international is reportedly set to join La Liga side Valencia.

Hjulsager has represented Denmark at every youth level and has scored three goals in 20 appearances for the under-21 side.

The 22-year-old joins compatriots Daniel Wass and Pione Sisto at Celta.
