Didier Drogba move to Corinthians would be a dream - Paulo Roberto

Paulo Roberto has said it would be "amazing" to play alongside Didier Drogba at Corinthians.

Drogba is a free agent after leaving MLS side Montreal Impact in November and has been linked with a move to Corinthians, who are reportedly keen to land the 38-year-old forward.

Brazilian midfielder Roberto, who joined the club on loan from Osasco Audax this week, said at his unveiling: "Those who are in love with football, as we are, we always dream about playing along with great players such as Drogba.

"So that would be one more dream come true -- that would be amazing. I hope he'll come."

Corinthians director of football Flavio Audato ruled out a move for Chelsea legend Drogba last week, claiming the club's marketing department were keener for the signing to happen.

Audato said "there is no negotiation going on" with Drogba, but Lance reported on Sunday that an offer had been made to the player.

Corinthians are currently competing at the Florida Cup Challenge in the United States.
