Gervinho completes Hebei China Fortune move from Roma

Roma have confirmed that Gervinho has completed his move to Hebei China Fortune FC.

Former Arsenal forward Gervinho, 28, will cost the Chinese Super League club an initial €18 million, with a further €1m to be paid depending on performance.

The Ivory Coast international had joined Roma in 2013 when Rudi Garcia, his former Lille coach, was in charge but opted to leave the club after the Frenchman's dismissal earlier this month.

A statement on the Italian club's official website read: "AS Roma can today confirm that forward Gervinho has joined Hebei China Fortune FC.

"The 28-year-old Ivorian has signed for the Chinese side on a permanent deal for a fee of €18 million after two and a half seasons with AS Roma."

Roma have already moved to reinforce their attack by bringing in AC Milan's Stephan El Shaarawy on an initial loan deal.
