The agent of Mexico international Jesus "Tecatito" Corona said his player is eager to join the ranks of Porto, according to a report.

Corona is eager to learn the outcome of the negotiations between his current club, Twente and the Portuguese League side.

"Jesus Corona was excited when he found out about Porto's hypothetical interest in his services," Matias Bunge told O Jogo on Tuesday.

Twente was docked points by the Dutch football league at the end of last season for failing to meet targets set for financial recovery in the Eredivisie.

Portugal outlets have said that Porto is willing to pay more than $10 million for the 22-year-old's services.

Fellow Mexico internationals Raul Jimenez (Benfica), Hector Herrera (Porto), Raul Gudino (Porto) and Ulises Davila (Vitoria) all see action in the Portuguese league.
