Toulouse have signed goalkeeper Mauro Goicoechea from Portuguese side Arouca.

The former Uruguay under-21 international, now 27, will compete for playing time with regular starter Ali Ahamada as he inherits the role vacated by Zacharie Boucher's departure to Auxerre.
He told the club's official website: "I am very happy to have this opportunity to play for a club like this and I will do my best to be a success.
"I don't know much about Ligue 1. It is always a new challenge to play in a new country, the language and the style of play are always different, but it is a good challenge for me."
