Orlando's best chance of the half came in the opening moments, when Chris Mueller nearly scored within the first minute but was denied by goal-line clearance. The MLS hosts had several chances to find the equalizer in the second half, including an effort from Nani in the 64th minute that was stopped by Santos keeper Gibran Lajud. Santos will now face off with the Seattle Sounders FC in the next round on Sept. 14, while Pumas UNAM will take on Leon in the other semifinal clash.
