The ball flew over the head of Toronto goalie Alex Bono and into the net. Cruz Azul moves on to oppose either Monterrey or the Columbus Crew. Monterrey heads home to Guadalupe, Mexico, on Wednesday after a 2-2 tie in Ohio last week.
