Parris penalty earns England draw with Belgium

England and Belgium played to a 3-3 draw in their friendly match at the Den Dreef Stadium in Leuven on Thursday night.

The Lionesses had taken an early first-half lead with goals from Jodie Taylor and Beth Mead, before a Carly Telford own goal and a Ella Van Kerkhoven strike right before the break brought Belgium level.

Van Kerkhoven was at it again to start the second half, firing home past Telford to give Belgium their first lead of the match.

However, England levelled matters when Janice Cayman handled in her own area and Nikita Parris stepped up to make it 3-3 from the spot for Phil Neville's side.

Next up for England is a Sept. 3 friendly away to Norway in Bergen.
