Adebayo Akinfenwa inspires Wycombe

Adebayo Akinfenwa scored one and set up the other as Wycombe moved up to second in League Two with a 2-0 victory at Cheltenham.
Both goals came late in the first half, with Akinfenwa turning sharply and find the bottom-right corner in the 41st minute after good work from Craig Mackail-Smith on the left.
He then turned provider, teeing up Paris Cowan-Hall, who fired in the Chairboys' second.
Wanderers, who this week rejected an approach from an unnamed Championship club to speak to manager Gareth Ainsworth about their managerial vacancy, moved within five points of leaders Luton and above Accrington to keep their title hopes alive.
Wycombe defended well in the second half to stop Cheltenham finding a way back into the game.
Their best chance of reducing the arrears fell to substitute Brian Graham, who headed wide after a cross from Kevin Dawson.
Carl Winchester forced ex-Robins goalkeeper Scott Brown into a parry during an even start to the game, but once Wycombe took the lead they never looked in trouble.
