Barnet were relegated from the Football League despite a big win against Chesterfield on the final day of the season.
Goals from John Akinde, Richard Brindley and Alex Nicholls were not enough to preserve Barnet's League Two status as Morecambe drew against Coventry to take 22nd place on goal difference.
The home side came close several times in quick succession, with Akinde having a shot saved, Shaquile Coulthirst's effort on the rebound blocked and Curtis Weston drilling just wide.
At the other end, Jacob Brown put the ball into the back of the net from close range but it was disallowed by the linesman's flag for offside.
Weston rattled the crossbar with a shot from the edge of the area before he provided the cross that Akinde headed in to put Barnet ahead in the 42nd minute.
In the 80th minute, Brindley doubled the lead with a shot from outside the area.
Nicholls added gloss to the scoreline in the 88th minute with a stunning strike into the top corner but an inferior goal difference compared to Morecambe meant that the Bees were relegated
